27Mb is absolutely insane. What was left in the code or folder structure to make it bigger than most race/clothing/production combination mods?

@Stellar Harbour The attached mod is close to what you are asking for and last I check it was compatible but I have not tried it with automatic night owl since 1.6. Work Manager DOES work on 1.6 despite rimpy being fussy saying it isnt compatible.

Turns out I am an idiot, I forgot to check if settings for something so small even exist. While at it I checked if it works with Lycans and Sang variants seen in VE series, which is my normal usecase but which the option doesn't mention, and the mod does work. Thanks a lot!

@royallyTipsy - There is a mod option for Dirtmoles already, I haven't played a ton with Biotech so is there another specific condition for a darkness preference? I only knew of the one from Ideology.

Option to affect everyone with a darkvision/UV sensitivity gene would be nice, since those usually come paired together. Sanguines and dirtmoles would benefit from this greatly.

@👁️⃤Singu ꧅🥲⃤⃞⃟ - I haven't seen any similar issues, the default criteria only impacts pawns with the nightowl trait, then there are mod options for Ideology / Biotech that would impact non-nightowl pawns.

Is this mod known to throw around other pawns schedule as well by any chance? Been trying to track down my pawns randomly flip their entire schedule and reset some parts to "anything".

Has been killing me.

I discovered this mod has a load order error with Android Tiers Reforged/Synstructs. If this mod loads after those mods, it causes the UI to crash when several different kinds of those pawns spawn. Just bump it up before them to fix it. Hope this helps someone. @Ben, would you be able to add a tag so RimPy knows to sort this mod before those? Otherwise, it sorts it alphabetically.

Thanks for the fix can confirm it works!
I think the babies were disappearing because they don't get ideology until age 3, not sure why doors were disappearing for EC.
I used "force birth" on my ghoul and it spawned normal babies, then aged them to 3 and they've got my ideo. Everything worked normal and no errors in the log.

@AwesomeShite - Thanks, from that I just pushed out a fix for the error regarding pawns without an Ideology.
I'm going to need a log for the error regarding Anomaly babies to be able to look into that one further!

Whenever I try to start the anomaly new game the ghoul you start with loses its icon at top of screen and pawns lose their ideology. Here's the log I get from pressing ` with dev mode on. Good luck on this issue.

Can anyone post a log when they get the errors regarding the babies being born / if a pawn doesn't have an Ideology? I don't own Anomaly so I can't reproduce that issue - I will be working on a fix today.

There's an error in this mod with the ideology feature. If a pawn doesn't have ANY ideology (such as the ghouls from the Anomaly DLC) the game throws exceptions when loading the save and the pawn doesn't even get added to the colonist bar.

Mod has been updated to include new mod settings that will automatically set the schedule for Dirtmoles + Vampires, as well as to set the schedule for pawns with an Ideology that prefers darkness.

I did run them both and it worked as far as i could tell but my modlist is so big at this point I don't know if something else could have also done it.

@GremlinWerkz Have you tested when running PrepareCarefully? Mainly the compatibility should be that if you use PrepareCarefully to create a pawn with night owl, on load in it should have the schedule set automatically as usual. The patches used to do this are still there, I just haven't tested it on 1.4 since it wasn't updated when I updated this

If I recall, Tunnelers get a mood penalty for being outside at all , rather than daylight, so scheduling isn't particularly relevant for them. Darkness ideos, however, despise sunlight.

Just pushed out an update that includes a mod setting to enable the functionality for Dirtmoles and Vampires, I could not get it working with Tunnelers, but when I looked, I see they don't get any kind of debuff from being outside during the day unless I'm missing something?

@submeg If you're editing them before starting the world yes it should. If you edit a character mid-game and give them nightowl, I don't have functionality to check for that.
