NullReferenceCatcher is a great tool that can help you catch NullReferenceExceptions in real-time, it's important to note that it's not the same as Extended Error Reporting. NullReferenceCatcher is actively maintained and updated, and it's a fantastic alternative that you can use. This is compatible with the current game version.
This seems to be abandoned. Future updates are unlikely.
This is a test version, but is considered quite stable.

@StayHungryStayFoolish Are you sure that the messages are meaningless? What kind of error messages are they?
Regarding the output log - it is unfortunately true that sometimes it prevent message logging. So if you are sending the logs to somebody, make sure that the logs were collected without this mod.
Nonetheless this mod can be still very useful if you are self-fixing a broken asset/mod and you want a quick guide where may the problem come from.

This mod apparently conflicts with the output log report and removes information from the report needed to trace source errors. It can also intercept errors creating an infinite error loop with no useful information and force you to terminate the game process. Again, with missing information as to the errant mod, in the output log.txt. Some mod developers have recommended disabling this mod. Compatibility report needs to be updated to reflect and recommend unsubscribe would be wise.

How is this not a default behavior for error messages.
When an error happens it should say what specifically broke.

I'm gonna download this and i sure hope it fixes my game after at least one of my 700+ mods was incompatible with the airports DLC

There is some other broken mod/asset that causes the popups. This mod should only help you find which one it is.

This mod literally saved all my savegames. I had an asset error that literally made my game unplayable, and logs didn't help. This gave the exact asset name for me to find the error with, unsubscribed, and all my games are fixed. Lifesaver!

This mod made it possible for me to pinpoint and fix a problem with a specific mod due to corrupted data files (not a mod conflict) that would have been impossible to find using vanilla reporting.

absolutely brilliant MOD and thank you. I now have something that tells me what is and is not compatable with certain MOD's and although I am not fully Cities experienced I can understand now what certain problems are and for what reason. Thank you again.

I said before that I did not get any errors after subbing to this mod. At the time that was correct, but I think it was perhaps due to being the first game run with this mod installed because from subsequent game starts I still still get the errors. But now the errors have lots and lots of information but I have no idea what to make of all that info. as I do not understand it. I have so many problems with my old city since Sunset Harbor update I had to start a new city. This new city has no errors, so at least I know my PC install is ok. So sad to leave my old city behind.

Poor Strad!!

I appreciate the fact I see what the errors in game are so I can actually figure out how to fix them and hopefully never lose another City like I have in the past :) I don't suppress a single solitary one :) Thank you :)
