I think it does. Just start it, and if it crashes, please report here. If it doesnt crash, it works. There is no in between.

It has the original changes. "The spot opti but it works" has just a few lines of code and deleted most of the original author's work, for reasons unknown. This is the original but without crash and without the zoom "feature". What is better depends on your definition of better.
This one is closer to the original. This i can say for sure. The only thing I changed here is deleting the line about zooming and the file that crashes the game in the original version.
