Im having the same issue as Energywelder and George/gamehag.com
Every time I join an Orthodox Crusade my character will leave the crusade before it starts regardless of the crusade strength. I do not have this issue when I play as a Catholic.
What do I do?

Ok, so i couldnt give money because i was legit too poor, i thought i ahd enough money but no? Regardless, I still cant stay pledged to the crusade for more than 30, in fact it appears I leave within 10 days

Im having this issue where I'm playing as an Orthodox character in the 9th century in Byzantium, Patriarch called for a crusade in Jerusalem, I clicked join, but every time i click join i eventually leave against my will. I never seem to be able to stay for more than 30ish days. Not only that but when i try to contribute to crusade's coffers, it think im too poor and therefore am never able to contribute.

I understand you're not updating the mod, that's fine, but can i have some advice on where i should be looking to fix this?

it is an excellent idea but a little exaggerated in my humble opinion, I would find it simpler if you create a mod that doesn’t change mechanics so much, give crusades and religious leaders to all religions, it ends up unbalancing things a little, but if you just did a mod that put the mechanics of catholic crusade for all religions would be enough to balance the game, Holy Fury had an excellent proposal but having put this new mechanic just for Catholics unbalanced the game a little.

I think some crusades start and im not part of them as Ireland and the icon isnt popping up under my portrait

@weedslang Yeah I was gonna add the option but I forgot. I don't really wanna work on this mod rn, sorry.

Hey in like the mod, but is there a way to stop the crusades to start from the beginning and instead use the Vanilla rule? In your file it Seems there should be a game rule for "early crusades" But I cant seem to find it

Do crusades still have a cool down?

@sam Probably not, I'm pretty sure its hard coded. And even if I could, it would cause countless bugs.

is that something you could change in the future? the limitation on only having 1 crusade active at a time?

@Sunbro BigBoss Nope, only one crusade can be called at a time.

Cool mod, I thought CK2 devs said it wasn't possible to implement crusades to other religions. Can two crusades be called at the same time?

Can you make a version without the addition of crusades in Africa and being able to ask the religious leader for everything?

I think i found a bug (not with this mod, i mean, if you play two mods at the same time)
if you plays this and the reformation plus that adds 4 things to reform your religion you can get a bug it when declare "crusade" being the head of religion and makes crash, i can't confirm is was my pc or if this mod is not compatible with the anoher one.

hey, great mod! quick question though, how do i go about making it so that lands taken in non-christian crusades get distributed among the family members of the participants like the regular christian ones?

@Siberian Frontier The point of this mod is that every religion has a crusade, I'm not going to restrict it.

Yeah that should make them more peaceful. I mean its weird to see a Jainist crusade. You should make it restricted.

@Siberian Frontier Thats because Jainism is pacifist, which disallows the "Hunting" focus.

@Elidurden123 Every religion now has a religious head, unless you reform one and choose not to have one.

So what is the story with faiths with no R-Head? Do Hindus have a head now? Cathars?

the crusade did not get cancelled, its just that it kept kicking me out automatically. i restarted the game and it fixed. ty tho

@Blueboy It might, but I doubt it. I might create a HIP compatible version in the future.

I was looking for something like this just the other day, I was suprised that it doesn't exist. But now it does! Thank you. (Would this be compatible in HIP? Sorry for asking)

@George/PvPRO.com/gamehag.com That happens because the total strength of the crusade attackers must be above a certain number, think it was 75%
