Hi, how I can dissable that return fire on all soldiers?

I have the same problem as Dustar.

I must say, it's rather discouraging and doesn't present a good impression of something solid and reliable when it has this sort of puzzle and hurdle right at the beginning. Also, you recommend AML but you don't know that this is the problem that's likeliy to crop up as soon as one uses AML with this collection? Please clarify what's going on.

Probably best to download dependencies, but not knowing which mods are flagged as having missing dependencies, it is hard to know for sure. Many have false flag dependancies though.

I use a translator. I downloaded only mods from this collection, excluding voice acting(I just want to run it), I use AML, when installing all mods in AML I have: 29Missing dependencies and 2 conflict(Faction Flags and [WOTC] Random Soldier Info Mod). Should I put the ignore on. Or is it better to download the dependencies? Thank you in advance for the answer

I have exactly the same problem than Tyler, when i enter the arsenal after the tutorial, i can´t do anything to go back. Any help?

So right after I finish the tutorial and go to choose a class, I am unable to go back. Can't leave the upgrade screen.

After installing this collection, I can't edit the color of the armor and the combat coloring on the face. How can this be fixed? I did every step of "troubleshoting"

@himawari_a : Do you remember what are these 6 mods? I also use the AML so I missed the issue that some might not work without it.

I removed 6 that needed prerequisites using Alternative Mod Launcher and I got this to work.

This collection is incredible, thanks so much. I can't imagine how much effort you went through to collect all these but man, this is like a whole different game (in a great way!). Can't understate how awesome and inclusive this collection is; it's like 2 entire gameplay overhauls. Props to you.

However, this mod collection is not targeted at new players and it's easy to install mods that make the game exponentially more difficult, radically change it from the vanilla experience, or break your immersion with weird cosmetics. Love the collection... no crashes... sharpshooter cannot reload during the match is that normal if I have all optional equipment equipped?

It is just the models, not the stat so yes it is normal.

Are we supossed to have access to plasma weapons from the get go??

I mean, sure. I did uninstall the VO-stuff, and that made the game boot. Still got crazy long load-times both to start up the game, to load my save and to start every mission. So I guess the modlist is just too fat. Shame.

I appreciate the work, Takeda. If you ever want to go above-and-beyond, you could try making a "Lite"- version of the ultimate collection, where you decide what's 'essential' mods and what isn't.


As for why I'm seemingly hitting speedbumps, I dunno. I'm rocking a 6600K and a 1070TI with 16GB of DDR4 Ram. There shouldn't be any issues on the performance side of things.

Downloaded the collection today, and I'm having massive issues. Game crashes, consistently, when I start a new game. I've followed the entire troubleshooting guide.

My working theory is that I hit some hardware limit actually. When trying to load it and getting that particular crash, when i went to look at my web pages they had all crashed from lack of memory. So I went back and just didnt sub to the voice packs and took out most of the cosmetic only changes from weapons and such. Now it works fine! Cheers on making the collection btw, i know how tedious the whole process gets.

Well the only thing to do other than the troubleshooting in the description is subscribing to the mods one by one.

`Like I said before, I play with all of them active. I have no issue whatsoever. So try them by elimination or something. This is a very unstable game and quite unsupported as well so I can't do everything for you guys. I put this collection together bc it works for me. Not sure what you are doing wrong, but the best way to go about it is to try them one by one.

Its actually the same issue that telephonejack had, crashes at the same exact place. Maybe theres more to it than xcom 2 fuckery?

Same here actually, even went so far as a fresh download of XCOM 2 and its still crashing with all of the collections installed. Speaking of, the auto sub doesn work for some outdated weapons mod in the weapons collection. Thought you should know.

Thanks for putting this together, I am dealing with some crashing issues but ill keep working on troubleshooting it.

theres a couple mods i was thinking you could add that shouldnt have any issues with all these other mods installed, first one being the venom boss mod, 2nd the tank mod, where you get a literal tank , and 3rd, cloned rulers

I only use one class mod and its the Supporter one. I won't test the other ones so I don't think it would be a good idea to add a collection of classes that I won't play nor test.

I'd actually like to ask about possible class mods that are also compatible with your collection - perhaps making an "Ultimate Class Mods [WOTC]" collection for those of us that like to be a little crazy? Or, even, other collections that are compatible with your own might be a great suggestion too.

I don't unfortunately, this game is infamous for being buggy and random in its performance. I went 2 years unable to play this game just 'because'. The game kept crashing as you describe and after a while I couldn't even launch the game at all without it opening the damn error window. Took me a lot of time to figure out the problem and it wasn't an easy fix and 2K or Firaxis didn't help a damn bit. Now for what cause YOUR problem exactly, I do not know. I play with EVERY single mod in this list and I don't have a problem, it will occasionnaly crash at the end of a tactical mission, but I always save at strategic moment, but it doesn't happen that often to bother me or to make it a problem. So I can't really help you, if it works for me, it should for you too. If it doesn't, go with the elimination process.

Hi Takeda, I've gone through your entire troubleshooting guide and no luck so far. It's off a fresh reinstall of my OS, and Steam and I'm still crashing between intro videos (reaper finds commander and unification day vids play fine) and black screen/ xcom symbol twirling in the corner, the game doesn't get to Bradford's Voiceover or the loading screen in the back of the skyranger before it crashes. Any ideas? Disabling all mods runs the game fine and boots/ loads much quicker as well.

Yes I have more squad size upgrades installed. It worked with robojumper if a edited the xcomMSSU_settings.ini file and change squad size their. That´s why I asked if there where more ini settings that needed to be changed.

Yes it seems like you´ve made quite a few changes the latest 24 hours or so. Checked you modlist again. Gonna try them out and do a restart.

So I'm not sure, but whether you have this mod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=619895689&searchtext=squad+size or this mod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1558757646 , they will both conflict with this mod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1122974240 since the 2 former mods add a value that block the starting squad to 4. So removing the line that set the starting squad size to the first two mod, depending of which one you have, should allow the last mod to choose for you your squad size. But I'm no modder for Xcom 2, so maybe I'm wrong.

I replaced it by this one https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1558757646 . You can change the starting squad size in the latter.

I had to change the staarting squad size in XComMSSU_Settings.ini to make it work. I don't know about the rest. Do you make any .ini setting changes in your game play?

What do you mean? You don't 'need' to make any change in the ini files if you don't want to.

Perhaps you should give some pointers to which .ini settings are required as well?
