One thing I wish the Russels could do is be able to pull entities & weapons. But besides that, this is one of the coolest mods that I've found in a while!

Would you consider adding an extra varient of the russels (one that uses a method similar to that of the actual gravity gloves in Half-Life:Alyx) that targets the hand and adjusts the velocity during flight to always end up in the players hand now that they have described how they work in the commentary mode? if not, would it be possible to make this a toggle of sorts so that the russels target the hands? (if for nothing else than to make the russels feel more viable, would adding/fixing mid air adjustments to the velocity/direction of the russels be a feasible feature to consider?)
