I have a problem the eyelids still show the base texture glitchy checkerboard and I used bumpmap, what do I do?

This is a pretty dope texture, though I have noticed a few things that could be improved.
1. Since the eyelids use the default skin color, it can heavily clash with all the other skin colors of the inkling models.
2. The eyelids specifically are more meant for female inklings in looks, put them on a male inkling and it looks kinda creepy.
3. The eyelids don't have a bumpmap, having a bumpmap would greatly improve this texture.

The eyelids are pretty good, but this is just some that was concerning me, hope you take this to heart so that you may improve in the future.
