Love the Lets Build style of maps, definetly will give this a try.

Thanks, I appreciate it! Felt like the LBAR series had an underwhelming amount of maps so I initially made this one. Glad the comments in here finally kicked me to fixing and balancing it.

very good lets build map. the builds are good yet not overpowered, there are fair amounts of tanks/hordes, and the weapon system is SUPER good. you cooked man

I tried hammer++, sadly I couldn't get it to work either because it does seem to mount onto the default hammer program. Also the bot issue is something I tried to fix when I initially re-released the map but to no avail. The Bots need to have a nav mesh generated on the stairs. The problem is that the stairs don't exist most of the time, so the geometry that toggles on-and-off can't have nav built on it, even if manually drawn, because it doesn't really exist. I say just kill them

Thx for the update so much better now, though if you have any bots they won't get in the rocket at the end. Also, you could maybe try Hammer++ if you haven't already for that CPU issue.

No worries, the whole reason why I was procrastinating on fixing it was because Hammer, the level editing software, just doesn't work because my CPU has too many core or something like that. I need to download a specific other software to set my CPU to, like, "legacy mode" which simplifies how my cores act? It was just too much of a hassle until last night when you reminded me to do it and I wasn't doing anything else lol. Good timing

Okay, it feels a lot more manageable. Could probably even clear it on normal with bots. Haven't completed it because I had an issue. (The screen froze but the game was still running fine. I heard the others shooting and calling out the tank, could hear when I paused and could hear my mouse hovering over the buttons. Probably unrelated to the mod, though.)

Yes actually! Your comment gave me the kick in the pants I needed to set my CPU back to legacy mode so I could open up hammer to fix it. Check it out and let me know if it still feels awful. Should have significantly less spawns per second.

Holy fuck, have you gotten around to editing the spawnrates? 'Cause they are still impossible to do anything if you don't immediately book it for throwables.

Yeah this is uh... certainly an *experience*, I can say that much.
Not a very fun one, but an experience.
Even on EASY I could barely beat it with a group of four constantly spamming bile bombs and molotovs solely because of how many constant hordes, special infected, and tanks there were.
I swear I was getting grabbed by a jockey, hunter, or smoker every minute or so.

This is unplayable, every time the hordes become nonstop. The lag gets worse and worse until you either die or your game crashes from trying to molly a couple hundred commons at once. Map would be fun otherwise.

The airtank doesnt unlock because you missed an output on the trigger_finale. Just add another UseStart output for the airtank_lock and it should fix it.

Hey dude, can u share where you take LBAR1 Research Table and how to place buildable spots with fences\walls\crates? Because, what i found was only LBAR2Core with Gas system and freeplace build system.

research system, and for everyone saying it doesn't work. I know, I don't know how to fix it sadly the literacy on how to properly upload map-only addons sucks and idk how it works. So if you really wanna play find your addon vpk file, open it and extract the map file and it's .nav.

does it use the research system or the gas points system

And yeah I'll try fixing the airtank bug present in here, something happened with the Prefab where the button doesn't seem to unlock

Subscribe to any map, go to the l4d2 Survival option in game, when it asks for a map/ campaign go down and select the "workshop map" (or something along those lines) you can see the maps you download from the workshop

how do i play it

Bugged, has air tank locked but when you try to unlock it, its already unlocked. It is preventing buying any upgrades down the air tank chain.
