The test mod can be used for normal play. Once the beta ends you can keep playing the same world by disabling the beta version and enabling the official one.

Hello,
I would like to report a crash that occurs when running Uncompromising Mode (workshop-2039181790) at the same time as another large mod, "永恒新界" (workshop-3191348907).
The game loads to the main menu, but it crashes every time I try to join a world that has both mods enabled.
I have analyzed the client_log.txt file (which I can provide if needed), and the crash appears to be caused by memory exhaustion. The log records an FMOD Error: Not enough memory or resources at timestamp [00:20:56]. This error occurs immediately after the client finishes registering the long list of prefabs from both mods.
Immediately after that, at [00:20:59], the game crashes with a C++ exception in the LoadPrefabs function.
It seems the combined number of assets from both mods is too large for the client to handle, leading to a "client out of memory" crash. I wanted to report this incompatibility to you.
Thank you for your hard work on this mod.

I found a critical conflict between the 'Prismatic' mod and the 'Uncompromising Mode' mod. When both are enabled, the game fails to load any existing save. The log file shows hundreds of 'Could not preload undefined prefab' errors for items like hat_blue_crystal_skin1and weevole_carapace.
It appears both mods are defining prefabs with identical names, causing them to override each other. Since my save data contains items from these prefabs, the game crashes on load. Disabling 'Uncompromising Mode' resolves the issue.
Could you please look into this and coordinate with the other mod's author to resolve the naming conflicts? Thank you for your great work!

@Johnny5X Yes, it's designed to be experienced with any number of players, but it's esier with more people. It does 'work' with Don't Starve Alone, as in it will launch and it won't crash (often) but that mod causes many mechanics to stop working.

@依可希娅 Night Events are being completely reworked so we are not touching the old ones. An open beta will release very soon for the new update, you can check the changes there.

Out of curiosity, do infested Redwoods restore overtime if not fully chopped down? I'm trying to farm Aphids without de-infesting since I can't figure out how to infest Redwoods

And everytime I've tried to let Aphids hang around a Redwood (Thinking maybe how to infest it), some other mob like the Fruit Bats just take them to brazil, and I don't believe Fruit Bats to be despawnpoint-able(?), right?

but if its not part of the base weapon damage why does it already deal 200 damage instead of 100 damage like it does when normal player use it? it already has the wathom 2x damage.

The additional damage that special attacks do isn't part of the base weapon damage and thus isn't properly affected by damage multipliers. Whether that's a bug or not... is up to debate.

hey so i don't know if this is a bug or something but i was playing wathom and I killed deerclops and santa for their items you can use only if you have veteran curse, anyway when my andrenaline is at 100 when I am suppose to do 5x damage, but deerclops antler special attack only does 200 damage instead of 500 damage that is suppose to do, same with santa item i am suppose to do half of 170 which is 85 but i only do 34 damage. is this suppose to be like this or is it a bug?
