I'm not doing any mods at them moment. The last mod I made with my friends, "The Nicolas Cage Concert Mod", was well over a few years ago now.

I haven't really even had time to play much for awhile but things have slowed down an I'm hoping to start getting online and gaming more.

Just playing L4D2 and looking for Lasersights is how we get inspired and how we come up with our ideas.

@SKINNIE yess I absolutely agree, games like Gmod, Skyrim or Mount&Blade would've been already dead without those mods. And I love the ones that are not necessarily immersive, but instead crazy like yours xD

Sweet, great to hear! I used TUMTaRA to test it too an I also played like 8 straight L4D2 games trying to find Lasers in different maps and they've been working for me so far.

I'm not entirely sure why, but it seems that the sights are doing the exact opposite of glowing. They're invisible until I shine my flashlight on them, and even then, they're still quite see-through. And they're not visible in the dark.

Okay, I think I got the glow working. I was having trouble getting them to work online that's why I didn't update them on Monday. I think I had the order wrong in the .vtm file. :-\

I'll update as soon as I make a video for them.

I also find a Tutorial for glowing textures in Half-Life 2 using alpha layers. Should work the same for L4D2. I'll try my hand at in over the weekend.

I agree with you Doom. The final mod came out a bit darker then I intended. My first idea was to make it with a rainbow background theme. :D
But I then went with the universe and nebula theme instead. I think your idea to have his face glow in the dark is AMAZING! XD

Unfortunately, my modding skills at the moment only go as far as reskinning. Though, I will look into it.

You are a beautiful person. This combines the two things I would most love to find during a zombie apocalypse. Though, I do have one complaint. The original laser sight box is primarily white. This texture gives it darker colours, so I fear that I might pass right by it.
If you're up for it, I would totally love a version of this that somehow glows in the dark. Perhaps you could make the Nic Cage face glow? The rest of the texture could stay exactly the same, but with the Cage's glowing face on either side of the box, it'd be very hard to miss. That would make this addon all the better for me.
