The Pirate and Spiritkin I have played so far.
I really like the Privateers' Pistol.
Reminds me of the Pathfinder Skull & Shackles Card Board Game. Lots of fun even without the Pirate Class.
The classes and designs looked cool, but Pirate seemed really strong when I tried it - haven't tried the other classes much yet.
I was sure that the icons had to be in the game already, because there would be no other way of getting them, but I thought they were maybe leftovers from cut content or something like that, and you used them. But having them officially be added in the game is pretty cool.
Now that I have the answer to my question I can go and read the modding documentation and maybe take a look at how some mods do things. Then it's time to try something small to ge tteh hang of it... That is, if I can get some spare time, I haven't put this game down yet since I got it.
Thank you for the answer, once again, I really appreciate it.
Regarding the icons I originally had my own but I do a lot of stuff with Raven (The developer) so we decided to assign official icons to the archetypes regardless of them being part of the base game. There's a certain file in CustomArtworks you can make (I believe it's Archetypes) where you can put in icons for them, at which point you'll want to make sure it's a png and crop it into a circle so it doesn't look out of place. It's in one of the modding tutorials (look at making your own archetypes/races), if you can't find it I'll get the information to you in a few hours.
I'm loving making characters using these cool new races and class (currently playing a Skeleton Necromancer).
I'm trying to learn basic modding for this game and got a bit confused about the location for the icons for your races and class. I don't see them anywhere in the mod files.
I've been wrecking my head thinking about how you managed to include these icons.
Could you be so kind as to tell me where they are located and how you managed to make them appear for your races and Pirate class?
i'm so glad I can have a parrot, just not in this area. thanks again.
