Yea, use braziers instead lol, the mod still works on those.
They take longer to build, but stone is essentially infinite with either deep drilling or quarry mod, so no needing to wait for trees to grow or constant refueling.

The only downside is that they provide a temperature of 23 instead of 17, this can be problematic depending on your temp needs.

Torches are not being affected by the mod anymore, but the fueled andons from Erin's Japanese Furniture aren't either (it used to) :(

If you want to get rid of the version mismatch in Rimpy go to the mod folder then About then about xml. Open it, then add <li>1.4</li> under <li>1.3</li>. That should fix it

if the mod is working fine go to the mod staging area
find the workshop folder of the game
find the mod folder|
in the mod folder make a new folder called 1.4
copy the shit in the 1.3 folder into the 1.4 folder

there 1.4 update done

Knock on wood, I haven't seen any problems with this on 1.4. It still works as advertised with any item that you can refuel that I tried to build!

When I try to start a drum ritual it instantly cancels saying the campfire is not lit. Is it a problem with this mod ? Amazing mod btw <3

could you make a toggle menu to set what is and is not able to be refuelled? That would fix the Ideology issue.

I think this has an issue with some things in Ideology. One of the beliefs in my colony has a ritual that has a better quality if started at a campfire, but when I try to start it, it says that the Campfire is not lit. No error log in dev mode.

You can have just one DefNameOfObject and don't need the "or" for it. That's just for adding more than one item.

The passive coolers where driving me insane with its constant running out of fuel and eating loads of wood, and taking time from my few poor pawns.(i am too low on steel to properly set up powerd cooling atm)

Hey everybody! I'm moving to a different house soon and the new place needs a lot of repairs. I will be unable to work on my mods for at least several weeks. If anyone would like to take over (temporarily or permanently), I'm 100% okay with that. Or, if mlie or another modder would like to make a new "(Continued)" version, I would support that, too. Let me know so I can add a Contributor to this mod, or link to a new version from this description. Same goes for all my other mods too. Best way to reach me is probably the RimWorld Discord (same username).

@Dr. Nolegs - The new game code probably checks to see if it's burning fuel. If so, this simple XML patch wouldn't work and we'd probably have to exclude campfires. I'm not very familiar with the new DLC yet, so there may be other issues as well.

so vanilla expanded medieval has had an update and added wall mounted torches, these arent infinite yet, could we get a patch pretty please

This mod has an issue with the Ideology DLC, it doesn't count the campfires as being 'lit' so you can't do tribal drum celebrations off the campfire.

So, I don't have a log since it wasn't shooting any errors... but for some reason when this mod is enabled all of my torches don't produce light. Whether I rebuild them or not there is no light from any torches in game. It fixes as soon as I remove this mod tho.

Well look who woke up from hibernation, it's me! Sorry I've been out of touch for so long. Here's a quick update for 1.3 and Ideology DLC that adds Darktorches. I'll put all the other mod requests to my to-do list and come back around for another update in a few weeks after the mods catch up to 1.3.

Is the Dubs passive coolers thing resolved (using the Dubs settings tip from @oicher), or is anyone still having problems with it?

if using dubs bad hygeine with passive coolers refueled by water enabled, if you dont turn off refueling water job (w/fluffy's work tab or by disabling colonist hauling entirely) colonists stay locked in standing and flood the debug log w/errors -- if removed it works perfectly however :)
