Any way to add a 300 and 500 size category?

Unfortunately, from my testing Stellaris is hard coded to only allow one of each fallen empire to spawn and so it is now possible to increase the number of fallen empire spawns.

As far as I can tell, the crash is just from not having enough star names available.

I mean it can work without any crashes but you need to use just star name and it will fix clicking on solar system crash

Yeah looks like the mod I suggested has been taken down as well. I'll have to remove that suggestion. Let me know if anyone finds a good replacement!

yeah this mod doesn't work anymore because 3.4 changed how names are stored in the game's database. @ontoclasm has a fixed version of Just Name Lists because it fixes the crash of selecting solar system but am not sure if it fixes anything else

I still hope that at least the crash when entering a star system will be fixed. And more titles have been added, at least up to 2-3k systems.

14700kf, 4090, 32 RAM. Until the last patch it played fine on 2k systems. There were no problems, with the release of the latest dls there were constantly random crashes. And when trying to enter/capture some systems.

The larger sizes are definitely unstable, and require seriously powerful computers... I've updated the description to better warn people about these issues.

Just double check if you have any conflicting mods by trying the mod by itself.

Hi Sylvania,

The max number of stars heavily depends upon the galaxy shape and the maximum world size permitted by the Stellaris engine. Think of the higher star counts as "Up to 10000". They may not work on most computers as well. You need a high end PC and plenty of memory to run these systems.

Hmmm... even more confused now, I found one that did spawn 10k stars, but it was the cartwheel galaxy of all shapes...

Adding to my previous comment, it appears different galaxy shapes are slightly different. I was trying to do spiral with 4 arms for most of my tests, but i have since attempted to expand to other shapes, most have simular results but elliptical does seem to be larger hitting 4500-5000 consistently, but still fairly far off of the 10k

Deleted previous comment to add more info. I'm trying to generate a 10 000 star galaxy, but always get stuck around 3000-3500. I originally tried with several other mods but have slowly decreased to attempt to find this issue. Even with just this mod, i don't appear to be able to generate a full 10 000 star galaxy, I also attempted with several star name mods, but that didn't appear to change the results. With just this mod, my computer loads the galaxy in about a minute (was longer when i had other mods) so I'd guess it's not failing and just stopping short, but I'm out of ideas to attempt to fix it, I even attempted the one other mod i could find that does 10 000 star galaxies, but it only managed to generate about 2 000.

No matter how many ai i have it try to spawn even with max sized galaxy it still only spawns roughly 50

For some reason spawning is fucked up. Even with 10,000 stars no matter how many AI you put 7 or less always spawn. Barely any Fallen empires spawn, at the most I could get was one.

Hi Sir Killsalot,

I am unable to replicate your issue.

I have tried generating 3000 and 5000 star games. A 5000 star game took my Stellaris game over 20 minutes to launch on a 8 core processor. This is consistent with previous findings I have had on the mod. It is possible that overlords has increased the burden of loading map graphics enough to the point where your system is having a hard time.

Please be patient when generating and loading these larges maps as it can take some time.

Hi noysome, Adding a new custom galaxy size is documented in the stellaris wiki.

If you need more help, you can download and extract this mod to see how it works. The files you are looking for are in the map/setup_scenarios directory.

Do note that the maximum radius is 500, and that the name must be different from the other setup_scenarios. Additionally, unless you adjust all the priority numbers, your preset may be located in the wrong place. Hopefully this helps.

Hi @thebannhammer. Unfortunately I was unable to reproduce the crash. Please make sure you are using no other mods that modify galaxy generation settings. If you are still having issues, please DM me with further details about your playset etc.

Thanks for the reminder guys, The mod is now updated to 3.1.* Please note that no actual changes were made and the mod was fully compatible anyway, but will now show as such in the launcher.

Anyone else have issues moving the sliders because of lag? On occasion, the game just freezes and it has to be closed.

Got my primitive mod working again.So maybe sliders are possible now? idk how this mod actually works.
