Well said. As a gay man I don't and won't use the progress rainbow flag. I find it ridiculous. The whole point of the rainbow flag is that is about everyone. Adding in colours reflecting races contradicts the whole point of the rainbow flag which already includes everyone. Most of my gay friends won't touch the progress one with a barge pole. It is seen as a fully inclusive flag being hijacked to impose unnecessary additional symbols that are already by definition included in the rainbow.
