It's been a while... I'm not sure what I tiddled around with. I do know that the mod still worked a week or two ago even though the client UI has a hairball about the revision number.

What did you tweak by chance? I've been using the old one up to the new 3.3 and not found any issues. Or did you just change the version notepad file? Our group likes using the mod so wondering if we should jump ship to yours if it makes any improvements or fixes a bug we somehow missed.

Honestly, I tweaked a pre-existing mod with full permission from the original owner to reflect the latest version at that time. I wish I had the programming skills to improve it.

@petermout As a serious RPer, I find it fun a lot of times to have a patriarchal or matriarchal civilization to run. It's like adding tabasco sauce to the stew! :D

@Disciple The only thing I did initially was to hack the version reference. It does work even though the version says otherwise.

This is fun. The females get all the glamorous jobs, rule, govern science, admiralty, the Boys get to fight and die in the mud on alien worlds as generals. There was one issue with a male image combined with female personal details, but that fixed itself once i sent her surveying. :)

Is it possible to just make your entire species one gender?

Hey I know it might be dreaming but it really frustrates me that when I edit my species with gene mod traits the leaders default back to male every time, if there's anything you could do or any tips you could give me to edit files to make that not happen I'd really appreciate it... Breaks my god-empress matriarchy immersion haha

The MOD works for the countries the player controls, but after using the "survey" command, I found that the gender of the leaders of some countries did not change.
Some MOD have replaced the original portraits with animated images of girl, but the gender of other world leaders still shows men. So, this situation looks very awkward. >_<|||

To be honest, I am not sure. If the only difference would be the actual language modules, I would think it would work. Apologies; I wish I had better knowledge.

Envoys are affected just fine for me, just like everybody else in my species.

Envoys? I don't know. Honestly, all I did was alter the Version Stamp. The original developer gave me permission to re-post the mod.

Thank you for updating this. It's a simple mod, but it makes running certain types of societies far more immersive.

This is the Simple Gender Editor originally from Waesche. All I did was tweak the descriptor to accept 2.6 compatibility.
