Ah.. damn.

Thanks for this awesome mod, by the way!
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2022 kl. 11:01
@lidku716 You can't add it to a save game if the load order of traits changes. That will shuffle every character's traits. So it depends on your mod list. Safest bet is to start a new campaign.
lidku716 4. dec. 2022 kl. 9:19
Eh? I just installed this mod in my current game, and immediately I see all the other European monarchs hating West Africans despite none of the prerequisites being checked-off at all. Kinda sus...
zachary.deca.stl 20. juli 2022 kl. 20:51
i had that happen, it may have been a bug but it made them hate them slightly less. kind of like a poor godly savages mindset
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 28. mar. 2022 kl. 6:06
Pretty sure he loses the hatred trait in that case.
Mr. Kinich 19. mar. 2022 kl. 18:24
What happens if a character who has hatred for a religious group later becomes sympathetic to that group?
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 27. jan. 2022 kl. 3:45
@Bad Pipe: I made this mod to be compatible with HIP. And I used to play with it a few years ago together with HIP. So I think it is most likely one of the other mods that you are using that is causing the crash. However, I have moved on from CK2 modding so I don't think I will have the time to test it myself.
Bad Pipe 8. jan. 2022 kl. 7:04
I am not sure if this mod works with Dark Ages or HIP. I now have HIP, DA, and a mod called three doctrines reform, and when I click on religion button the game crashes. And when I disable this mod the game runs fine.
Aetini 2. mar. 2021 kl. 17:33
@LordMidas™ Awesome, thanks for that response!
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 2. mar. 2021 kl. 13:36
@Aetini: Yes it should still be working fine. Converting to a new religion/culture works as one would expect: i.e. the religion and culture traits are updated to show the new religion/culture, and if the character had any hatred for the religion/culture they have now converted to, those hatred traits are removed (you can't have a hatred trait for the religion/culture you currently belong to).
Aetini 1. mar. 2021 kl. 20:37
How does this handle converting to a religion/culture? And is it still working a-ok? I think it is but any other confirmation would help.
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 5. aug. 2020 kl. 15:10
@Transflux: I have not tested it with AGOT but in theory it should work.
D.Cub3d 30. juli 2020 kl. 15:30
Does this work with AGOT?
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 13. juli 2020 kl. 9:16
@小怪兽(=_=) : This mod adds traits to the game. The way the game works is that when you run the game, it loads all the traits and gives them unique IDs. The traits are then given to the characters based on the trait ID. If you then remove a mod with traits from your save-game, then it is possible that the next time you load the game the IDs of all traits will be different. Therefore, the traits of all characters will be shifted and changed. This is already mentioned in the Compatibility part of the mod's description above. Therefore, don't add or remove trait-containing mods from your save-games.
Norwegian Forest 13. juli 2020 kl. 8:29
Excuse me, why don't I use this mod and some characters show "no governance ability"? ,
All of these characters used to have "abhor" buffs
b4nk 1. juli 2020 kl. 17:57
finally i've always wanted to despise the jews
mythman 26. maj 2020 kl. 10:31
based lol
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 21. maj 2020 kl. 16:07
@LiptonDI: Good point. That was an oversight on my part. I have updated the mod, the traits should no longer be available in Ruler Designer. The update is safe-friendly.
LiptonDI 21. maj 2020 kl. 14:53
Hey, good mod, you should add ( customizer = no ) to your traits in the trait .txt as to not clutter the Ruler Designer interface when you chose your traits
Not Miles Morales 20. maj 2020 kl. 3:54
I like that the 8 year community had to make a racism mod for the game
Harald Hardrada 13. maj 2020 kl. 3:57
wow! It's working! Thanks a lot mate
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 13. maj 2020 kl. 0:46
@Harald Hardrada: At the Default game rule, hatred traits have a small chance of being acquired. Let the game run for a few years and then go to the Find Characters tab. Switch it to "All" and then in the search bar type "hatred". It will show you the characters which have any hatred trait. If you don't see any, keep refreshing the Find Characters window (you can refresh it by clicking on any filter and setting it again). Please do this and confirm if the hatred traits are being acquired in your game or not.
Harald Hardrada 12. maj 2020 kl. 14:04
Hi LM. This is my second game after download this, but still noone hate anyone. Using hip and several other mods and I'm thinking it may be possible because of culturel bonuses, I cant find any other posibilities. What should I do? Could it be from cultural bonuses? In my game characters only have religion and culture group traits, not anything else.
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 6. maj 2020 kl. 9:48
@Angelic Burrito: Yes it was because of the temporary reference characters. The author of BLG also talked to me about the issue. No one knows WHY it caused a clash. But removing the temporary reference characters seems to have fixed the issue. The reason I had temporary reference characters was because the modding Wiki seems to suggest that culture and religion scopes cannot be saved as persistent event targets. However, I am doing exactly that in my mod now and it works - so the wiki should be corrected in this regard.
Angelic Burrito 6. maj 2020 kl. 6:13
What was even the issue with BLG? Like, (if it's quick enough to explain) why'd these 2 together cause a crash — something to do with the temporary reference characters?
Hi, i'm Hyeon 5. maj 2020 kl. 21:36
thx for update bro
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 5. maj 2020 kl. 16:30
Have pushed another tiny little hotfix to make the last update even more save-friendly.
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 5. maj 2020 kl. 16:02
Update: Compatibility with Better Looking Garbs and other portrait mods is now FIXED. No more crash at game startup. Update is save-friendly.
Firias 21. apr. 2020 kl. 12:52
I don't know why but i can't download any of your mods, did you have an idea ?
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 21. apr. 2020 kl. 10:02
The reason I made the traits not hidden is to show the opinion modifiers. Because if I make the traits hidden, then the opinion modifier is shown as "Unknown -20" etc. Which isn't a very big issue, but I decided to show the opinion modifier properly rather than as Unknown.
20. apr. 2020 kl. 22:51
Thank you for this mod!
But why you made group traits visible?
lmmrch_trait_religion_group_1 = { random = no }
to
lmmrch_trait_religion_group_1 = { random = no hidden = yes }
For every other religion/culture group trait too.
This shouldn't break anything ( I hope ) and will free character's interface space.
Bigmachingon 5. apr. 2020 kl. 22:56
Thanks a lot mate! Great mod
TheAuditor24 5. apr. 2020 kl. 16:14
Yeah.
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 5. apr. 2020 kl. 12:29
@TheAuditor24: Are you using Better Looking Garbs? If yes, then this is a known issue and I don't know why it happens. Only seems to happen with that mod so far.
TheAuditor24 5. apr. 2020 kl. 11:37
Mod makes the game crash when i press Play, exactly at Loading Events.
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 30. mar. 2020 kl. 17:48
Have updated the mod with more bugfixes and some quality of life changes. Should work properly now.
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 30. mar. 2020 kl. 10:09
@Siberian Frontier: It may be because of older version of the mod. I updated it recently and fixed a bug. So it is possible that some characters which already had the hatred opinion may be bugged. But it should be fine for new characters (so you can continue your game). To be sure, can you do the following: Open your save game again and open the game console. Type "charinfo" in the game console and press enter. Then move your mouse on the hatred trait that is bugged. And send me a screen shot of the tooltip.
Siberian Frontier 30. mar. 2020 kl. 10:01
I'm having some issues with mod. No character has hate for other religion and cultures. I mean they have trait but it doesn't show reason and the culture. https://i.imgur.com/l1Sv9PN.jpg
I found a character abhors some group but when i look to his opinion of other people i can't see anyone having -50 opinion modifier. I may be missing something.
I use some other mods but it says compatible with anything.
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 30. mar. 2020 kl. 8:07
@Signus: I have updated the mod with some optimizations and bug fixed. I have also expanded the number of supported religious groups to 15.
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 29. mar. 2020 kl. 11:27
@Bigmachingon: I have added a Dropbox (direct download) link to the description of the mod above.
Bigmachingon 27. mar. 2020 kl. 16:12
Please post a link for external download
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 27. mar. 2020 kl. 4:05
@Voidrin: Yes it is compatible with HIP. It is already mentioned in the Compatiblity section in the description of the mod above.
Voidrin 27. mar. 2020 kl. 3:04
HIP?
Rectal Rocket Scientist (PhD) 26. mar. 2020 kl. 23:39
Dislike: Turks invade Anatolia
Hate: Turks invade Balkans
Abhor: Turks take Constantinople
Harvey Birdman 26. mar. 2020 kl. 6:17
love all your mods. continue the great work! :)
Paradox Fan 25. mar. 2020 kl. 15:12
Looks AWESOME. Was looking into0 making something similar.
Signus 25. mar. 2020 kl. 12:47
There are 14 Religious groups for After the End Fan Fork
LordMidas™  [ophavsmand] 25. mar. 2020 kl. 4:17
@Juke and @Skidee: It should be possible to add a tolerance system towards specific religion and culture groups - however it is a lot of work and I may not do it any time soon.

@Signus: Yes it is possible to expand the number of religion groups as well. However, it is also a lot of work. Can you give me an idea of how many religion groups are in that mod? In vanilla CK2 there are only 6.
Signus 24. mar. 2020 kl. 20:34
Is it possible to expand the number of religious groups? I'd love to use this for After the End Fan Fork but the number of Religious groups is a little on the absurd side.
