"If I read this correctly you're asking why it created a new file ID and how to fix it. Well, the answer is... I don't know :P. It has been reported to the mods team (waaaay back actually!) but I've never had any confirmation that this has been solved. I'll remind them today and hopefully it can be sorted in the not too distant future but I honestly don't know what their backlog looks like so it could be weeks or even months before it's sorted :(."

Based on the above I hope that a resolution with be forthcoming shortly!

I am aware that the mod is currently broken and that it hasn't been updated in some time. Over the summer I had some computer trouble and got very busy with life. I am just now getting some free time again. However, due to loosing the initial mod file in the course of my computer troubbles, I have been unable to update the mod. Instead, whenever I try to update it, a duplicate is made by the Paradox Launcher and Steam gets mad.

I spent several hours today [11/27/21] looking for a solution; it appears that this problem is present in the mod tools for several Paradox Games and no one has found a solution as of yet. Consequently, I opened a support ticket with Paradox and am waiting to hear back on a fix. If a fix is not forthcoming I will have to delete this mod and reupload it as an entirely new one. I'm still hoping to avoid this but it looks like it may come to pass anyway.

Your kind words and support have been appreciated; your patience admirable. I ask now that you forgive me for my absence and bear with me a little longer while I attempt to rectify this. So please stay tuned and, if the worse does come to pass, be on the lookout for the reuploaded version. I'd greatly appreciate your ratings and support on the reuploaded version as well is that is what end up having to happen.
