@the consul from the hl2 beta, it's a M1911 plated with sliver or something and has a compensator on the barrel. I can see how anybody can get confused on this but, i'm 73.62% sure this is a M1911.

something is odd about the pistol from the game, sometimes is brown, sometimes it's grey

@Abbe honestly, I thought it was some weird science gun because there was bunch of cut animations where it turned into a smg and a rifle.

i'm not an expert modeler, all i did was slap a usp match conpensater on a m1911 and gave it a hla styled texture.

Am I the only one that didn't get that Alyxs pistol is a REALLY moddifed M1911, or was that new for "HL:A"?

@MattehWizard Im guessing that the author was trying to simplify it by using the original look of the Alyx gun, which had no glowing blue sights or indicators or anything, but still having a more stripped version. Honestly, I like it this way.

I've played the game (to a point) and, this is missing quite alot of details from the actual gun, eg:
glowing ammo count on the side of the handle, blue glowing iron sights, the magazine having a glowing ammo count, etc
