I wouldn't know until someone tests it and lets me know. Based on the comments on the page, I have a hunch it will because it looks like the costs are determined at the faction level so shouldn't touch anything this mod does.

For the abandoned village thing, houses are only buyable from actual towns in the base game, so someone would have to go and change all the abandoned towns to real towns I imagine.
For those still asking if it works with Genesis or other mods, you can try to make it work yourself by loading the mods in the FCS and repeating what I did to create this one.
Reliably utility and a core essential for any city/civilian/trader mindset for a save. Thanks for making this mod.

Thanks for trying it out and finding where the issue lay.
If you want to try to get it working with that mod you can try to load that mod up in the FCS and do the same thing I did to create the mod ( as I mentioned in the description and images) to edit those new factions to allow their buildings to be purchased.
