The "modern" reason to have it is *inflation*: the price of a locomotive sketch in the same roublars one has got at the start might become considerably higher by the time the actual production line can actually get built.
I tested it tho, seems to cause no trouble.
It's just that I can always find some space for a few extra pencil pushers, to reduce unemployment :P
2. Vehicles aren't my thing really. I like making buildings and functional utilities.
3. I use Blender to make the 3d models. Scripting is fairly straight forward once you get the hang of it.
Here's a guide written by some of the guys on Discord https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2050253358
You can also come join the modders discord where you will get plenty of help and advice https://discord.gg/jgGjr4d
or if you mean in game, it's under production line
Thanks for sharing.
Do you have any control on the size of the footprint and building restrictions that any building imposes..?
Back then I wasn't really clear on how that blueprint thing works (not that the game will tell you that you can produce vehicles after you can't purchase them anymore thus making them really useful) so now I can't build all those fun colourful american cars... Well at least it's comforting to definitively know that all the other blueprints won't expire either, thanks for clarifying what the game didn't for me :)
