A note for those who were not able to see the notes. One has to create a new character in order the addon to work. It does not work with runs in progress.

@JIM: Odd. Can you confirm that the addon is enabled for your character? (In the Load Character dialog entry description for your character, there should be an "Addons" line with a list of tags for addons the character is using; this addon's tag is "notestoself".) What other addons are you using?

this isnt working for me in 1.6, the hotkey doesnt show up in the bindings and i see no notes

will it pop up every time, or just 1st time, you logs into character, you left note on?

@doctahsanchez: Addons installed from Steam or te4.org are considered "official" and don't mark a savefile as "tainted". And I'm not actually sure whether being "tainted" in this sense would even prevent you from getting achievements.

@doctahsanchez I use mods and still get achievements.

Can you use stuff like this and still play the game with achievements etc?

I used to just inscribe stuff on the floor in nethack. Cheers for this, its really useful.
