i suggest using Animate - Rewrite instead, it has canting thats way better plus alot of other cool stuff too

for anyone still using this mod, the "aim" keybind is right click always, cant change it in the options.

mod might be broke, i tried it on sp with the default key binds while aiming and also with non default keys and it still won't work.

For anyone who comes across this mod and says that it's not working, my advice is to READ the instructions which are present throughout. It all works absolutely fine. I have just tried it today for the first time and it's very well made, just READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

I can't save the addon options on server. I'd like to remove the crosshair from everyone but everytime I set it to override client's setting it goes back on.. have the same problem for every cba setting for the mod

@devildogg237: Thanks for the help, I was able to fix it but when I started shooting it started aiming and canceled the previous canting action, i think is for the mod Animated Recoil coefficient changer or something

there no "Toggle ADS" option in Configure Addons menu, only can change the weapon canting.

Just to be clear should i aim through my sight then press "C" because it is not working , i have tried changing so many settings even the keybind and the toggle but i still can't get it to work,after pressing C absolutely nothing happens. Is there any known mods or scenarios that might cause it to not work?

@jahq44 You can always remove the crosshairs. I never use it. But without that or the laser, this mod is currently useless.

For use with the Nightstalker, your current mod would seem like a better replacement for when you're just carrying the gun John Wayne Rambo style than as an alternative view to replace looking down the red dot. For that matter, if you could have the current result replace John Wayne Rambo style *and* provide a canted but straightforward view of the red dot when you tap right mouse button to look down the barrel, that would be ideal. Tapping "C" really ought to cant both in a usable way separate of double "Q" when you're not prone.

Can you make it so there is an option to remove crosshair?

Really too bad this isn't more figuratively & literally straightforwards instead of being a different POV that requires a laser or the use of (yuck) cross-hairs. With the XM157, I don't like having to tilt my body to the left with double "Q" to make good use of the red dot on it. I thought your mod would allow that, at least optionally, but just looks like a wider FOV and off to the side more than when you're not looking down the red dot. Maybe that'd have a utility with the very larger and FOV-obstructing scope like the Nightstalker, but for everything else seems pointless to me.

Could you please fix the key for GGE Weapon Canting? The key should be in the "keys" folder instead of the "addons" folder. The key is currently named gge_canting.pbo.goobin.bikey instead of goobin.bikey.

@smersh do you have Animated Recoil coefficient changer Mod? Thats the mod that is giving me Problems

@smersh you must be using toggle to aim, you need to turn that setting on in addon options menu for this mod.

It goes back to normal aiming after the first shot, so its not really usable, I hope this get updated soon as its immensely userful for night ops

@devildogg237 no its straight up in my face all i can see is the barrel.

@cheesebigboyapple Mostly because the hole point is to use a laser with your gun not obstructing your view? this isn't meant to be used with a canted close range sight like the old cods.

Animated Recoil coefficient changer causes weapons to uncant themselves once you shoot

I figured out how to get the Canting to work.

You have to Aim down Sight (Optic or Iron) hold Right Mouse Button (my case is zoom)
Then Press "C" (which should be default).

If the weapon doesn't stay canted when letting go of Right Mouse Button, you have to toggle "ADS" in the Addons Config Menu under GGE: Canting.

Weapon used in test was: RHS M4A1 Mod 0
