im having crash issues, during my 1st turn, i end it and when it gets to inca the game crashes,I have no mods on other than this, and it crashes everytime

AI is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aggressive. You can't build diplomatic relations to anyone without backstabbing or US declaring war to Brazil just because they can. You know, I played with Iran this mod and after good relations(Open borders, trading, declaration of friendship etc.) with Ottomans they just backstabbed and invaded. And game keeps crashing time by time. But else, this is good mod. Russia and Brits have too much cities, like little islands in the middle of nowhere.I think those are trash because those tiny islands didn't have so much place in history and no one can even mark those from map. They just slow down the mod. But else, this is good mod.

IMPORTANTE QUESTION!!! in the redux map i have, it says that it´s the 2.55 version. Is this the old version or the new one? In case it´s the old, how can i have access to this new one?

No, it isn't. It could be released now, but I don't feel like the current level of quality displayed within it is reflective of what I want to accomplish with it - so in other words, "It'll be done when it's done".

this is a crash log after a surprisingly not-as-crashy-as-i-expected game of playing as ethiopia. it lasted for about 86 turns

War go to files>my documents>Games> Civilization V> Mods> 1900 world redux. There should be something that says 1900 world redux map. Copy it back out of mods paste it in maps and you should be good

I noticed the capitals haven't been assigned to Canada, Italy, or Japan. Palace is missing from the capital city.

my computer fried out on the 27th and as such I am unable to access or modify any files related to 1900 world redux at this point. all I can suggest you do is to post the offending save file in the comments section with a promise that I will get around to it soon™ish

Note: The strategic balance of resources is completely off as I was going for historical accuracy rather than game balance. I fully recognize Halifax and St. John's would be unreasonably powerful in the screenshot I linked.

Been following the mod for some time, added my thoughts before and you implemented them so here's a few more cents:

1.) Rendering Nova Scotia as detached from the mainland was offputting, as was placing Halifax in southern Labrador- north of both Ottawa and Montreal which is inaccurate.

2.) The lack of Montreal was a little jarring, given it is larger and arguably more important than Quebec City.

3.) The shape of the Newfoundland's borders are off. Newfoundland should include the island plus the coast of Labrador, including its major tributaries and lake.

I included a screenshot below illustrating some of the changes. I believe I only had to cede a tile or two from US to Canada to make this possible, and I think it's more accurate geographically. Don't mind the random atoll above Halifax- just throwing a bone to PEI :p

Crake, your mod is awesome! I have played it few times and I appreciate the effort that you put into its creation. I have only problems with crashes about 50-60 turns during AI turns. I'm looking forward for new updates.

to do so for the original would mean I would have to delete all units and remove all technologies manually which would take a very long time; the effort expended vs what I gain from that would be very little. instead, take an old modified version of something else:

Open question; answer in the poll linked below. Which option would you the user prefer?

1) In the next major update (alongside the map religion gameplay changes etc which are all already done), I include minor historically / time period inaccurate custom civilizations (no more than +- 15 years from 1900) that have already been made; the next update is released quicker (owing to the fact that I wouldn't have to design 22 new civilizations from scratch).

2) In the next major update I choose to create entirely new custom civilizations 100% historically accurate to the time period; as a result the release is delayed.

The DLLs that exist to exceed the Civ limit, like Gedemon's- they're not compatible with map editors in any way are they? I wanted to make a personal edit for this cramming as many custom Civs in as possible but the World Builder simply doesn't allow it.

Hotfix v2.55b released, fully integrates pontoon bridge assets and re-adds them to the game. Work continues on Terra Novae (working name; mentioned further down) project, but expect another update for Redux to add religion soon.

No. Poland ceased as a functioning state in the 18th century and was not reformed until 1918; this scenario takes place in the early 1900s.

Regarding pontoon bridges: I received permission to integrate the author's assets today, and will be fully moving them from the internal build to the public build tommorow. Expect a minor update soon - hopefully after that I can get back to working on the new project update, which is coincidentally looking rather swell: http://imgur.com/a/geyIM (current internal build is 0.25: not pictured are religions, custom civilizations, refined tile placement & technology implementation as well as several other things). Consider this ham-fisted comment as an official "announcement" / preview of things to come.

I'm working on it. It's late and I need to be getting to sleep, but in the meantime have pushed out a quick and dirty hotfix that just removes the mod reference. I'm pretty sure the issue was caused by the mod author forcing a mod id regen in the new update; regardless I'll get it sorted out tommorow (even if I have to integrate the assets myself, something that's coming either way in the next major update).

still cant enable the mod even though i have the pontoon bridge mod enabled. it says in red letters that im missing something so i can turn on the mod. any help please?

we've been over this multiple times before if I recall correctly; in the science disabled version science is completely disabled and as such new technology acquisition is disabled. nobody else has reported this issue which (again, hopefully for the last time) leads me to believe that the issue is on your end in perhaps a modified xml file or activated mod that tampers with the way research is handled.

Hey for the 2.5 science disabled vesion will you be maling the armies more equal because Germany is Hoplessly behind the rest of the world i.e. the Ottomans have rocket artillery and the English Canadians and the Austrailians have the Manhattan project and Infantry and Italy and the England have standard bombers and fighters.
