Nevermind, i found it. It wasn't on the crate, it was on the floor in front of the main entrance. I must have skipped over is a few times.

@JRC Yeah, I'm not seein' the key either. I checked all crates in front of all doors. I'm confused af.

you get wife and childern to move there with custom family home mod well atleast it worked for so just it will take like 2 in game days for them to come.

Rather nicely done! I noticed the mannequins tend to move about the house when exiting and re-entering the house (creepy).

I noticed that npc will just walk in homes and enemies as well.. sometimes.. if its a home with no load doors to enter.. always think about a pull chain, or a button, or even a lever.. the NPC cant comprehend those devices.. so.. they ... just dont come in.. if its.. got a key.. they unlock it on their own and come on in lol.. but for load doors.. idk. breezehome had a key and those damn guards chased me in there anyway.. yeah I was naughty lol

back again because your mod was wiped out by steam YET AGAIN have you posted this anywhere else as you said you would last march? (when you had time) I love this place BUT my load order has been destroyed and as of now steam still hasn't "fixed" (or ever acknowledge this even happening) please post anywhere another "client update" that wipes all mods out of load 0rder

Amazing :) better than i was expecting and loving every moment. One thing i'd add is a chest/storage outside in the forge area for ease of use. Apart from that 10/10 :)

have you uploaded this to nexus or any other site?? as I am SICK TO DEATH of this "workshop" and how steam screws up everything each and every time they do an "UP-DATE" other wise known as a compolete cluster "f" if this can be uplaoded onto nexus or another such site I would get it there as I an sick to DEATH of having all my mods from "steam" being erased every "update" these clowns do like today for instance. thanks like this mod a ton

Thanks for letting me know. I'll check it out and see what I can do.

I noticed a minor bug probably caused by this mod. It seems to make the stream outside Whiterun (the stream the entrance is over) flicker. I loaded this mod along with a few other mods I hadn't used before, but I doubt any of the others would have caused it since they're all just player homes, and none are near the Whiterun stream except this one.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, been busy. Sure, I'll do it as soon as possible.

Could you make it so you can place books on the shelves! I am a book hoarder so I think that would be super awesome!

I like the mod, but when I put some armor on the manikans. Later all my armor was gone! and They move around!

It should be fine as long as they aren't in the exact same location. My suggestion is try them both at the same time and if you find any issues let me know and I'll check to see if I can fix it. If not you might have to choose which one you like best and stick with that. :)

thanks for the answer and to coin a phrase "I don't get no respect" or maybe I read that somewhere (God love Rodney) anyways I am often surprised at the "footprint" some modders put down, far in excess of the cell used, can't figure that out anyway. the Colby is across the road and next to the bridge going north near the meaddery thanks again for the answer and I did not think you a "rude prick" after reflection I figure you were like most of us.... allowed only so many words a day and you had run them them already I have only ;)

ok, it will work for my purposes..... still going to search for a dragon nest/roost of some sort.... (i imagine something like dragon'sreach porch, with an expanded balcony (with no trap) finding a dragon all the time is a pain and has alot of unrealized potential)

i was so disappointed when i finished dragonborn, that allowed me to ride a dragon in undefined donuts with no real control....

There is a sercret passage way through a fake wardrobe down in the basement. It leads into two rooms and than a cave full of ore and at the end of the cave is a hatch leading outside. As for the weapons you can just leave some of your own down there because there is plenty of weapon racks.

how do you feel about secret room, escape routes, and hidden weapons....

lets just say despite the fact i can shout enemies in piles of ashes and bone meal.... id like swords convient...... for fending off bandits, dragons and the occasional annoying npc...

Okay have you updated the mod, because I just recently unlocked that door. The update was about 3 days ago.

For some reason in the hidden room, I can't seem to get to the other door in there, around the corner? it's locked and says I need a key.

Really liking this mod. It will be my main home. Just a couple of things, the fish barrel and a couple of the chairs outside keep falling over. Could you put a horse pen behind the blacksmith set up? Thanks

No what I mean by that is its accessible by followers. If you want to move your spouse in I suggest you try out the mod Spouses Can Live Everywhere on Nexus. If you want to move the entire Family in try Custom Family Home here on Steam.
