I adore this mod. Henry feels really natural to the game - sturdy along narrow strengths, with some nice perks, and some real limitations that make composition matter. Great art, and great sounds. Wonderful work.

Still want to say, this is one of the most creative, awesome, and just downright high quality mods ever made. The color of madness subtheme just ties it all together.

Hey, the "Cristaline Conductor" seems to be bugged, or not working as intended. I very much like the idea, but "will always burst after 2 rds" doesn't happen in my game, as sometimes it doesn't damage the enemy for a few rounds. I believe it activates when the enemy attacks and doesn't when they heal or buff themselves, but it's kind of random, and doesn't activate 1/2.

Great mod otherwise ^^

Didn't read all of the description and brought him into DD2 without a talisman thinking the hero's ring would mean I wouldn't need to worry.

Anyway love that class - probably the best and most unique on the workshop flavour-wise.

I am a big fan of tall tales, and Americana. I love the story of John Henry, including the apparently shorter man who inspired the giant. Thank you for making this class, because his really works for me, since I like steam punk type classes.

I apologize, I've been very busy working on more Darkest Dungeon mods and neglected poor Steel Driver. I've done some minor bug fixes for him such as blue codes lines showing for his name and in certain act-out barks. Just a reminder to all: Butcher Circus is usually not compatible with DD mods so it's recommended that if you're doing a modded playthrough to have that DLC turned off.

Very genuinely love this mod. Out of all the class mods I have (and I have a LOT) this is one of the few that feels very organic and not based around a gimmick. He feels exactly like a frontliner should. Keep it up!

So my Steel Driver got Possessed at he keeps barking code instead of actual dialogue, is there a fix for this?

Also will trinkets/abilities that reduce virtue chance effect him?

A great tank class, and especially useful against the wandering crystal boss, as well as Granite Doomsday. The conductor ability especially is great against high protection bosses.

Love this guy just like the Mambo. The art/animation power creep is out of control, watching a boring old highwayman next to this unit is just SAD now. Fantastic work Ebony and team!

I have a serious problem though, Steel Driver doesn't like me. Always hitting for minimum damage when I need him to bring the pain. His damage range can sometimes feel too variable, and thanks to the excellent art/anim I just expect him to swing for leper like turbo damage every time.

Loving this mod - just like the Mambo. It's incredibly cool to see such awesome African American archetypes implemented into Darkest Dungeon - it'd be an understatement to say the vanilla cast was lacking diversity.

Small request - I didn't know how the TNT ability worked from tooltips alone, and had to refer to the Workshop page. Could you make it so that the tooltip shows that it clears corpses and requires a slot? I've seen some blue text in other class mods that allow more nuance, and I know from my own modding that adding a corpse clear tag should be fairly simple.

Question, is it intentional that the CC trinket for him is accesible via regular quests and not outside CC? I have one of his CC trinkets available as a warrens quest reward.
