Chosen one origin image is glitched out. I have mods but i do not use any other origin mod so i have a feeling its the new psionic stuff given it happened after the release

this is a fantastic mod and really makes the game amazing, looking forward to the update.

@The_Illusive_Man22: That'd definitely require a redesign (so it could be chosen like for some other origins in the empire design screen) and I'm not sure if it'd be possible, without having some of those pops on the home world, too.
Certainly too much effort for me right now, but not theoretically impossible.

Hello! - great mod! It is posible to choose the species i want to select on the Eldest Sibling Origin, i want to choose the species for the RP reasons.

@Big Bro Slig: I'm using this to "duplicate" the species while scoped to the planet which shall become the new colony:
# create new species based on the original one
modify_species = {
species = space_owner.species
}
Then I'm calling a few vanilla scripted effects:
create_late_pre_ftl_empire = yes
setup_pre_ftl_planet = yes
pre_ftl_clean_up_effect = yes
The first one of which uses the last created species to create the new empire by default.
Was this what you're asking? You can read it from my modding file too (there's more stuff there for chances at a hive or cave dweller empire):

if i may ask, for the eldest sibling origin how do you customize it so it can be my own created species?

@DayBanHeyMan: This mod doesn't do anything to the authorities (it actually does nothing). If it's not visible, that has to be a different mod.

the ecosystem integration says it needs a hive mind authority but i dont have that as an option.

@DayBanHeyMan: Can you choose your authority before choosing the origin? What does the tooltip say when you try choosing, but can't?
It definitely shouldn't happen.

im trying to make a new empire but the ecosystem integration does not let me choose an authority but it wont let me save without one.

It might be one time occurence or might be rare bug so here is what happened:

Is the origin Born to Knowledge from this mod? Could not find it on the list here but could have sworn it was apart of this mod set. Had a few questions on it and was looking for fuller write up.

@Dr.Death and @p0xus: The same issue that kahvipensas reported for the vanilla code, was also present for the origin itself, so that is now also fixed!

@kahvipensas: Thank you for the report. I fixed it.

The event utopia.2605 has old code for adding leader traits. Paradox changed the code in the latest patch, and this mod still uses the old syntax.

@YutaniWakazashi: No, this is not the mod (see description above which lists the origins).

If this is the mod that adds "enslaved civilization" as an origin, that origin is broken. My founding species starts with ZERO pops.

Chosen One didn't apply the skill level and chosen one trait for me.

It appears that Chosen One doesnt work. Didnt in our MP game, anyway.

@Oxytoxy365: No, it's not supposed to do that, and also doesn't do that for me. You can try to un- and re-subscribe to force a new download. Sometimes Steam has issues doing so and you can get weird issues.

@Jackoboi: Please read the last few comments. You can download older versions on my GitHub page (for a link, see description). I will not add old versions on the Steam workshop.

Is this supposed to *replace* some of the vanilla origins? Because it's doing that for me (I.e. Back to the Future is replacing Prosperous Unification)

@MutWind: Probably not, because of the changed event interface. Feel free to download the old version of the mod from my linked github page and use that as a local mod to play your old save(s).

Does it still work for 3.14?

How about a failed dimensional jump with the needle craft. Spawn around the black hole with a planet with a hundred people and more people join every year from the collapsing needle. Set it so the needle explodes after a few years.
