Thank you for making this, I want a flat map to test mods on, this is perfect.

It was because no one was aware of the 1:5 mega size at this point and the devs made it more simpler to put power in peoples hands for TPF2 compaired to TPF1, so when I didnt see a flat map with a 1:5 max option, I jumped to the op so it saved people a few minutes of time.

Sorry, but I still don't understand why any would be unable to make a completely flat map especially Utubers with the skills they have, I have no skills at all in this department but I have just made a completely flat map, anyway good luck and if you help folk out then keep at it.

I talked to a few youtubers who use it in their series and they are very thankful for it

Aye, but I think mine was like, the first one before people actually started looking at tutorials or seeing they can just export the blank canvis itself

Not hard at all. Few simple clicks, but I figured some players just wanna jump straight in and I wanted to be nice and save them the trouble, at least until I get better at detailing maps myself, but im a slow learner

I mostly work with larger maps, but sadly devs only let you select 1:1-1:5

It rotates the camera, Not change the aspect ratio

You could just hold M3 and rotate it...

Its a bit on the wrong scale to use actually, I need 1:2 or 2:3 for accurate size (2:3 is basically 1:1.5)

I did make a Mega Flat style sodor map if you guys want some premade stuff laid out ahead of time

Using this as my Sodor base after i found the first map i used was too small

Saves people the time of having to do it themselves, but I really wanna update it a bit for a more sodor style area feel since hughdragon released a bunch of harbor mods and such.

So much thanks- it's such a pain wrestling with the tiny land bumpsa s there's no easy way to prep fuly flat terrain that is even (no land levelling tool!) so this will help my 'when I get a better pc' next project lots (it's big so needs the resource as a lot is going on the map!)

Christian, please post your PC specs here. I doubt its the map, as no one else I know has an issue. Either its your PC, or you have a conflicting mod.

The Map ist OK but it crash the Game. I have built a Undergroundline on this Map but it Crashes very fast. PLS Fix it. I dont will built all new.

Basically gives you more free reign. I mainly do it for my shunting yards and detailed narrow gauge railways (to be released soon) but check my buddy rob_archer for his narrow gauge mod

What you need to do is load a new game, and to go "select map" in the upper right corner, load in, save it, then mount the mods after loading up the save in the "Load game" menu

Thanks, i was looking for it but i guess im dumb, how can i use this map on "Free Play" so i can build tracks and so?! I could only found this mod under map editor.
