unless there is a floor down there, there is a risk of falling out of the map. its been a couple months so I don't remember if that was what happened or not.

@Ink Dragon - The terrain falls away so you can go deep into the Ocean, not sure why you think it's an issue? Can you be more specific as to why? :) Cheers

looks good only downside is along some of the edges of the map the terrain falls away allowing players to swim into the abyss

Yeah as i wrote strategically placed between northern and southern spawns. fairly spread so to speak :) and hopefully not landing in any trees or landing underneath the ground. (happens rather often with random beacons/drops active)

@Doomwarrior - Getting the foliage done soon. Map will be updated within the next few weeks. Already have drops active... Are you asking for more in a specific place?

If you are already on it, would it be possible to place 3 drop areas for loot drops maybe in the center area. Left of center, right in the center and right of center? It would be nice to be able to activate those :)

@Doomwarrior - Sorry about that (if it was my map that caused the issue) maybe it was just Ark in general after a heap of updates? Anyway glad to hear the issue is (semi) fixed :)
On another note..... Ark Dev Kit has struck again.... Lost a whole heap of info regarding the map files, just went to add some foliage to the hills as requested... All the berry assets I made have been corrupted. I have to fix them and then re-paint all the berries back in. Checked my backups and they are the same. Looks like it will take me a while to fix it all, but I will keep going until it is back to almost how it was. Unfortunately due to having to re-paint the berries (also sticks and a few other assets) these assets will not all be in the same spot as they are currently....

The issue was with the old players, not the new ones. We played the island, had a few guys on it. switched to your map, kept the players. New ones joined us aswell. New guys had no problems, old guys however had horrible lag. After deleting the old player files and they had to make new survivors all was fine again.

@Doomwarrior - It looks like possibly your server, as mine is fine. I just tried it and made a new player, no issues at all. Have you tried Single player? As you may have fixed the issue, is it all working correct now? I will add a spawn list asap

It seems to be an issue of "is it a new player or an existing one from an map before". Not sure if that is sth you can actually fix. Our fix was to delete all player & map data left from the map before, before that we tried eliminating all mods and re-enabling them one by one, redownloading all mods and undoing all changes to the ini files.

Btw. could you post a thread in discussions, where you can show the dino-spawn regions/list of the map? So its easier to adjust to the server's need? And many thanks for your efforts :)

@Doomwarrior - I will add more to the hills as requested asap :) Not sure about the menu lag issues as I haven't updated for ages. Perhaps an Ark update has affected it? Please keep me informed if you can check it a few times?

Me and some players on our server have lags of around 20 seconds while selecting a survivor and its pretty much unplayable afterwards aswell. Funny thing is it worked before and all of a sudden half the players could not play anymore due to menu lag.

a little more minor vegetation, and a little more love to the hills would tremendously improve this overally great map. We are planning on using it with play as a dino, to have a dino and a human team :) could be fun

@Max - Sorry Max, I have just re-read this and thought that you may have had frame rate issues on this particular Map. Let me know where etc so I can look into it. Cheers

Very nice little map, just a heads up, if your framerate goes through the floor as in is reduced by 50-60% try reducing your view distance from epic if you normally have it there to high or lower, that helped me a lot, no other change made much of a difference.

@thekidizraw - Awesome cheers :) I have worked out the issue is with small changes to the dev kit and the updates inc the centre map. I have updated my map so all the centre assets I use are being uploaded via my map so shouldn't have this problem again :). Map will be updated this weekend :). I have built a new PC with new Steam and Ark install. I have also not put any DLC except for my map's and mod's so I can now check it regularly for wierd issues. Thanks heaps for your help :)

Okay so Im about to re-download the center an check everything again now that i have the time. An its no problem I feel more people should be inclined to help modders when it comes to their work. I know i wouldnt be able to do this haha.

@thekidizraw - What about your Ground Clutter Density? Looks like you PC should be capable of everything maxed out :) Maybe redownload The Centre? It is weird how some have texture issues with Volcano smoke and one type of harvestable branch, yet others have issues with other assets???? All are assets from The Centre which is part of the Dev Kit???? Let me update the map again first and see if that helps :) Thanks heaps, let me know the outcome.

@Black and Blue - I run mine on a High/Epic Mix on a 4k Monitor using a Ryzen 3600 and RX 5700 XT Granted I only get around 40 to 50 frames but I dont mind that since i normally just play Single Player or Non Dedicated. Im goin to try and redownload an see if that helps any. Also please let me get a email to your paypal. Would like to pay to keep the updates coming.

@thekidizraw - Cheers :). Looks like you don't have grass either, I will show a screen shot from mine in the same place. What GFX settings do you run? That assest (tree branch) is from The Centre Map, it does now ship with the Dev Kit. Looks like all the other textures from other Centre assets are there so am unsure why that one is not showing properly... I will update the Map within the next few days, please let me know if that resolves the issue. Cheers

Above the volcano and a lot of artifacts with wood on the ground. I am on max settings.

@Steve - Not sure... All the smoke is fine that I can see. I never use any assets that are pixelated. Look at the pictures above in the description, there is a good one of the Volcano smoke. Which smoke as there is a fair bit. Can you take a screenshot? I can look into it. Cheers
