@craftinator117 well u need to space the missle pods by 2 - 3 blocks in order for them to work without it exploding the ship, thats what I found out.

i knda started building from front and worked till back and it kinda worked out that way that only place left for cocpits where front of engines

The cockpit is in the back the 2 are in akward positions but are highlighted by a colored ramp.

to use my work you do not need new skybox but it has been saked here much s0

now im home this is a skybox i use from aufrecht
all other files are default
YOURDRIVE:\...yourfolders\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Textures\BackgroundCube\Final

So I copied over every folder one at a time in the texture2 folder from your download. It seems its the model folder that is causing the error.

you dont have to use (overwrite) all files only background cube file
the BackgroundCube.dds

I have the same problem with the stretched textures. Not a low end PC either... any other links for sky boxs because I cant find anything about it through my google searches?

i dont know whats problem but if you dont like mist use his files here

and then only use the bacroundcube (skybox file you like moust)

i use all original exept skybox file seems better this way or it will be to dark.

made copy of originals before i changed anything, i have core i5-4670k CPU, 16GB RAM and GeForece GTX 650 Ti, that should be fine, no?

verifie your files in steam to get normal back if you did not make copy
so use (overwrite) only the skybox file
i had same problem its low end pc problem i gess

@ Ka3ra, when i tried to change background all i get is a weird distorted/stretched effects with blocks, new and old worlds it happens. seems as if im missing some important file??

im thinking of mby make smaller one but all previus versions looked ugly
but if game will not gonna have automatic inventory movment and inside menu moving inventory we will be forced to great ships where all is visible

(it took me over week to make from my spare time)
s0 feel free to edit it as you see fit

but now i found new hobby i found out of quadriant digging i test and if it will work somehow i will make base inside asteroid
