Please note that sometimes items drift away.
After a full day using it - the game slows down more and more until reaching about 24 or less FPS. Disabling it solved the issue. At least, it does with my other mods.

@Allantoid before you uploaded this, did you ever put in code that sets an item's speed back to zero if it is outside the magnet radius? that'd probably be a 2 line fix for the forever fleeing items issue, an else to the if within radius check and set speed to zero

Had to uninstall as this causes items to occasionaly run away from you, I nearly lost the bow I made and couldn't craft another one.

Just wanna let you know that this causes dropped resources to drift away off screen on occasion if not picked up properly or you run too far while it's being dragged to you, otherwise it's a neat-o mod.

gonna give this a go on a fresh playthrough with minimal other mods
