When new players died they were sent to sector 0,0 , at first I thought it might be a good idea to play from 0,0, as soon as the second time I died to 0,0, which triggered the boss
well he is still kicking my ass at the meanwhile.
So my question is:
Is this mod still in development and/or should we still be expecting an update soon? I'd rather not invest a bunch of time into a save if an incoming mod update is gonna break it.
And I found the minning system upgrades bugged with this mod. Many of the resource astroids do not marked and they said 0 resource. Did this a bug or it supposed so?
If you like fighting as much as I do we might both agree that buffing enemies hp and your dps isnt really a good solution. What if you increase the amount of enemies by 2x, 3x or even 4x instead of making each one chunkier?
thats just an example. if you dont like it ignore it. I am just sure that you can once again make the game fun for yourself with your modding skills and everyone else will profit too. Just dont continue to develope in current direction, In case you dont like it anymore. As I see it when you mod for yourself the greatest result will come out.
This game needs great modders and I would like to see all your ideas come true. =)
(by the way as you say you dont play a lot anymore you might not know that almost all weapons were nerfed and it is very frustrating to see enemies with huge dps while you get crapy loot in return).
have a nice weekend
That's more just "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and unfun" :V
Honestly, i'd keep the basegame material progression (or if i WERE to change it, buff later tier ores, add more intermediary ores, likely limit turret type spawns to certain materials, maybe even more general ship features?), otherwise it all effectively feels the same if you're practically using Avorion ships from the start and so is the enemy.
Definitely the biggest pitfall this mod seems to run into is "bigger numbers gooder", like the aformentioned "higher tier starting tech". 1 damage and 10 hp is the same feeling as 10 damage and 100 hp.
Of course, MASSIVELY buffing enemy HP without buffing your damage just turns Avorion into a Space Game version of Skyrim on Legendary mode... And if you've played that, bullet sponges arent really fun enemies in the slightest.
Of course, you really should have an in-depth section in the description somewhere explaining EXACTLY what you changed and how, as a note...
If this was freemode ...Id understand it.
and I get tech minerl higer than I can use
