Should work just fine. It's safe to install and uninstall at any time in case it's somehow not compatible.

so with version 2.0 it can work with Project Redemption?

Version 2.0 has now been released! Here is a summary of the changes:

*Overhauled dialogue to feel more natural.
*Removed dialogue lines that required any Fallout-related context to understand.

This mod now uses JSON patching instead of just replacing the entire deadbeatscrounger.npctype file, meaning compatibility should be even more certified

Glad to see some stuff for the Deadbeats.

I am uncertain if a deathclaw ripping Garvey in half from the bottom up would help me now, but I do appreciate the sentiment.

I apologize deeply for bringing back that repressed memory. Atleast you can now go around killing any npc that talks like Preston Garvey, if even that could help you now.

I actually didn't know that they recycled human text.

I just figured they were so used to the hell hole they lived in that they'd rather complain about small things.

Also, you reminded me that Preston Garvey exists, so now you must pay the fine.

Lovely. Now they won't sound so calm and actually wake up to their situation.

@*Yuki*
It should be safe to uninstall.
LeAnomalocaris 5. feb. 2020 kl. 13:41
Thank you so much!
*Yuki* 5. feb. 2020 kl. 9:12
is it safe to uninstall it?
Armok 4. feb. 2020 kl. 15:41
fair enough, perhaps I could still sneak some in via a patch file in my main mod :P
evanaug  [ophavsmand] 4. feb. 2020 kl. 15:34
I didn't want to go against anyone's head-cannon, so I left that kind of stuff out.
Armok 4. feb. 2020 kl. 13:30
darn, you beat me to it!

but then again, probably doesn't drop hints as to the glitch possibly being the creation of these guys
evanaug  [ophavsmand] 3. feb. 2020 kl. 22:22
That would be much appreciated whenever you get the chance.

All good on deleting it. I still think you shouldn't just outright replace it, especially since mods may end up touching it at any point, I can link you an article about patching if you'd like.

@anomnom
Didn't bother; so few mods touch the file that its just safe to do it the simple way. Also, I don't have much experience with .patch. Might look into it tomorrow though.

( Didn't mean to delete your comment, I'm using a clunky mobile device for this)
