No hard feelings toward them, but agreed. Although neither version is 100% accurate, with my version in particular the colours of the ropes and cables could be different, the rotating part of the windmill is missing some details and the overall geometry of the island could be improved, not to mention the texture of the bottom of the island.
I was thinking of including the tower from the Feel Good Inc. music video in this map or to make it it's own map respectively. A city could work but there isn't enough to go off of apart from the beginning of said music video, the best thing that could be done is a much dirtier Brooklyn with more interesting architecture.
Counter Strike Source content is being used, so that's why most of the map may be missing for you, if things such as the Skybox and models on the map are missing, please let me know if that's the case. Otherwise, get CSS.
...as if I ever lost interest...
(great map BTW)
Thanks for the heads up, they're custom materials is all and my Pak Editor must not have included them, will get to fixing.
I was gonna make Plastic Beach first, but I haven't gotten enough reference images for it, as well as that I wanna get some interior shots of the Flash game if anyone has it. For now I figured re-creating the Windmill Island is a good way to celebrate the new stuff Gorillaz is doing (Song Machine)
