It's not going to be updated guys, my life is in a comepletely different place now then when I made this mod, and I really dont have the time, and dont care enough to keep up with the constant updates. As soon as I update it, the game will just update again. Thanks for all the support on this mod from everbody. But Its a dead mod now.

Just edit the mod.info file and switch it with this

@Actor you sure as hell aren't holding it up like a rifleman. Anytime I fired it from the hip it was to suppress thats the whole point of a lmg.. the only time i'm not hip I'm using the bipod

You could try to use iron while standing but good luck is all I'll say.

I don't know about you. But if I was a machinegunner, I sure as hell would not be hip-firing. Unless it is very heavy. Also, I would totally duck my head when running, I don't want to be shot because I want to look good running.

The Problem people have is just to wait or get information why. I know that some modders do realy good stuff and yeah, mostlye there are just one person or a little team... they need time because Im sure this people going at work, have family and all so on. We gamers living in the same universe^^ so please give people time. And awesome example is the game UBoat (no comercial!) Take a look how they build there game, its cool to get developer updates and mybe then people know why to wait. (Sry my english is not perfect)^^

the new animation with the hip fired machine gun is less realistic than the old one, nobody actually fires LMGs like rambo

If you weren't so stupid you would've gone 2 pages back in the comments section to find out that the author is currently working on RA2 for GoH, which may also work for CtA, but even if it isn't they will still be able to work on this mod if it isn't obsolete by then.

All we can do is wait, or help in the development process by doing stuff like bug testing etc, but if you continue to harass the dev with update demands then all you will gain is the fev quitting and taking down the mod/-s entirely, i've seen why too many good mods that were either functional but only the version number was inaccurate, or the dev was working on it already, but couldn't finish it any faster because of RL stuff going on, and then trolls like you guys annoyed the shit out of them which made them take down their mods all together.

You can update the mod through the files,
steamapps > workshop > Content > 1234 > 1234 (It will have a bunch of numbers for the last two)

Change the maxGameVersion to the most current version (you can find this number when launching the game)

Open in notepad and make sure to save when you are done editing the file.
