they spawn past the edge of the map to deter the players from going farther

I haven't seen the faction spawn close to the edge of the map. I have tweaked the spawning radius so that it does not spawn too close to the edge. Sorry if this was a late post.

just a fyi these astroids still spawn but in the very edge of the top of the map, i still run into them when i go far, (into the black zone that won't show up on the map)

Scratch that, it is called Radiated Fields.

So, I have balanced the landmines making them less annoying. You can check the change logs for more detail.

For anyone who does not want the landmines, I have made an alternate mod that does not include them (called Explosive Asteroids). Sorry if I didn't make one earlier.

The homing mines are actually incredibly annoying.

Just make this the Asteroids themselves. Remove the det ships. Neat idea, but they're not fun.

Well, it is okay to keep the ships though. I am fine with leaving it.

i think the asteroids were mostly fields when i encountered them and it was msotly little pale red triangles floating around a few hexagons stuck together not the big asteroids
