Love the mod. Far more interesting than the in game loading screen. Would be great if you could create a loading screen mod of original Uboat video footage

Oh i play on 4k, so that is probably why i can not see the images. I can not bare to go lower, so i may just have to suffer till you one day do lol

Mod is still usable...i just need to update the manifest file to the current version ;) on higher resolutions than 1920x1080 the images doent show up, as the needed addtional folder is missing in my mod. I still havent found the motivation to add it, sry ;)

It's related to the used resolution, if my photos don't show up. I need to add a second folder with different resolution to make it work for everyone. Currently just no motivation/time to do this, sry

Yes please! The vanilla pictures suck so bad and your "Historische Ladebildschirme" is maybe my favorite mod :steamhappy:

I can't reproduce this error. On my end all images load in the game. I will check, if there are more pictures now from the vanilla game. If this is the case, he will sometimes choose a vanilla one

Nice idea, but not easy to do. I think I will stay at the loading screens until I found some coder, who wants to make such mod in collaboration with me ;)

Thank you so much for the modification. It works with b129 without errors.
I have a suggestion. Make a similar modification for the main screen of the game. Need to display on the main screen slices of old newsreel footage. Similar mod was for SH4.

will there be a version of this mod for 32:9 aspect ratio?
I'm playing on 32:9 (5120x1440) monitor and there is only the top half of the pictures visible (sadly a very common issue with loading screens in games on 32:9 monitor)
