Can you add an option to just start the run with 999 gold?
Not having enough gold for the first random event shop when you've got less than 100 gold is such a griefer moment that makes me want to reset the game ... or quit it outright.

This mod is great; and lets you actually buy cards and relics earlier on to help build/define a run. And combine it with the shop mods, and the game gets pretty great, pretty quick.

don't worry virgins this mod doesn't do anything, so it won't ruin other people's games for you

I think there is no need for any requirement. I would just make it a maximum of 300 Gold

But really, I like this mod. Gives you a reason to go on with bad runs!

What about being like the shards, except you just need to kill 3 elite enemies to activate it for the run?

I agree with @Prince Ezrik. Maybe you have to find a special relic and/or existing ones do it?

Like the Old Coin lets you save up to 300 instead of giving you 300?

What if it was like Dead Cells, where you could only save a maximum of gold... like 300?

Not a bad idea as a relic, thanks guys! I'm sure there's other mods that let you choose relics to start with so you could always have it if you wanted.

You are right! This would be awesome if it was a common relic and less OP.
