I right clicked the game and went to properties then clicked on the tab Betas where you will see Beta Participation. From there look to your right to change it from none to preaquatica - ASE : Pre-Aquatica

How to tame?

So this mod seems to spawn Defense Unit kill squads anytime you do anything. They move faster than any normal ground dino, and stun-lock you to death over and over. Doesn't feel good.

Defense units are too op.

correction, looks like having the mod on any map is crashing me. Not sure whats up.

The Tek Stego harvesting doesn't work, it also can't harvest berries and wood anymore; also how do I recharge the Tek Dinos? the food bar is replaced with a charge bar and don't know how to keep it from depleting.

Yeah I made them not breed so they don't get too op since I made them a lot stronger than they originally were.

I'm guessing they don't breed anymore as well?

The way you obtain them is by killing them and grabbing the blueprint they drop.

There is a tek saddle and tek platform saddle that are unique to it.

They have a small chance of spawning wherever tek dinos spawns. But the drones and tanks are currently extinction exclusive.

i cant seem to get the X attack on tek mosa to work , is it bugged? the ai ones can use the attack but my tamed one just wont do it no matter how hard i mash X lol

The custom ones have different sounds and are brighter with an often more blueish tint. Also yes there is a way to remove the vanilla ones. You just copy paste this into the game.ini and this should replace the vanilla Tek Rex with my variant.

They aren't tameable by normal means you have to kill them and pickup the blueprint they drop. Also I made it not replace vanilla since I don't like remapping major vanilla features so people can remove the mod without messing everything up.

Also, the description says the mod does not replace existing Tek dinos. Does this mean that only newly spawned Tek dinos will be the enhanced versions?

I made it so they eat element dust and most mechanical materials instead of meat and plants.

What is their diet? Do they require food or something else?

I don't think it works with immersive taming by default due to the diet being custom but you can configure it to work if you want.
