@reddtherage IO automatically changes items for all things, usually, and, even then, it comes with a "Mod Compatibility Assembler" that allow you to do Mod Specific items through an IO building, iirc

Will be testing this myself, as soon as i finish typing this comment, so will report on it shortly

so, I got ask because im playing on multiplayer server using "industrial overhaul" mods and was wondering if this mod works with said mods?

Can you put a normal GUI icons? Like in L.Y.N.X Industries - Gas Storage Expansion for example.

is it intended that the cargo container has less cargo volume while needing mor eplace than the vanilla large cargo container?
same question about the storage volume of excelsius and gladus where it looks like excelsius should have less storage than hte gladus and the gladus has even less that the vanilla hydro tank while grotus has the same and excelsius far more while gladus has far less storage capacity than the vanilla one. from the looks of it would excelsius be below vanilla storage capacity and the other 2 roudn about the same than the vanilla hydro tank

@jason all i need for SP rn, will have to wait to get an update for the fix for MP, unless it works for Non-server MP games ( run one of my saves in MP ) which should work as it would be running of me as the client. one way or another, i would be able to use the cargo

To expand on the previous post.

-Navigate to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\1978096328\Data

(or where ever you installed Steam)

-Open the EntityComponents.sbc with Notepad++ or your text editor of choice and replace

<Size x="3" y="3" z="7" /> with <Size x="7.5" y="7.5" z="17.5" />

-Load your game and replace the existing blocks, this is save game compatible!

Found the issue with the cargo container. There is a line in the MOD name / Data / EntityComponents file that reads

<Size x="3" y="3" z="7" />

it should read

<Size x="7.5" y="7.5" z="17.5" />

that will give the proper volume for cargo.

I really like the look of these blocks, but I think I'll have to wait for the cargo fix as well as a balance pass before actually using them. The tanks are a bit too OP as they are considering the mats that go into them. Maybe more computer parts and adding superconductors for the two larger tanks? That way it gives the impression that the tanks store the hydrogen as a liquid instead of a gas?
Also, another vote for small grid versions.

Is it possible to have the freight cargo hold more than it currently does? There isn't much incentive to use it over vanilla large cargos and the block size seems like it should be either on par or slightly better.

@Lynxon That would be very nice for both small and large grid. Small grid I am not sure if 3 blocks is enough space to pass through but having a storage "corridor" would rock!

@RKS-GameTech That's not a silly idea at all! You know how there's the vanilla lights that are opposite of each other as a single block? I could do that with cargo tanks. Like for compact cargo space.

You could call the Large Freight Container "Mainsail". Skipper is the name of an engine in Kerbal Space Program, and its larger counterpart is the Mainsail.

i love these modifications to the basic blocks of the game. personally i think these need to be in the game. the different styles of blocks can make ship interiors and functionality much more interesting.

The "Vanilla Size" in the description mean that the block size is like the vanilla version. The capacities are variated.

@Rysten you can manually configure the tank capacity in the mod files. Search up a file named UD-Cubeblocks.sbc and you'll see all the block configuration. To change the tank capacity, look for the tank's code block and find the line called "capacity". You can experiment with the number afterwards.

Any chance of altering the stats of the containers to differentiate them somehow? IE 1 is armored 1 is compressed so higher cap, 3rd is vanilla?

@Lughbaloo The indicators aren't showing up because of them being in a LOD layer. That means, that to conserve performance, many details of the model get removed the farther you get away from it. In this instance, it looks like you have low texture setting enabled. In case you cannot run the game with higher settings, i will enable the indicators on the main layer. The capacity if based off of Classes. The higher the class, the more powerful and efficient the block.
