THANK YOU I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tried to make 1 MAP with this but the ♥♥♥♥ documentation I ended up with a map that was broke as ♥♥♥♥. But since you made this I can finally test it out for once! Thanks for releasing this.

ah i see, so half assed documentation for creating user made maps that utilize func_tank map brush entities is just an utter nightmare when trying to read it from 'said documentation'. sounds like the could really use a better documentation update but then again its valve. i personally never used hammer due to its buggy ass mess and ♥♥♥♥ documentation and the hell in itself just trying to do anything creative gets nothing but frustraiting when you want to create something wonderful but its just so tedious to do so when the program is just a buggy mess and your left with ♥♥♥♥ documentation at that too.

Each turret is actually two func_tanks: one rotates the turret model and can't fire, the other is attached to the end of the barrel. For some reason checking the "Only Direct" flag on a func_tank and providing a target name allows it to fire without an operator. Honestly the documentation for this stuff is kind of :repoop:

FINALLY, a map that utilizes the func_tank hammer brush entity, most people dont do this in hammer for garrys mod, and its quite sad that most people don't. hats off to you for actually utilizing this brush entity, because honestly i dont see this often enough let alone AUTO TURRETS. I would assume its hard to utilize this brush entity in hammer considering how buggy and a huge mess hammer for garrys mod is in the first place?
