For some reason I can't get it installed to my launcher through the Workshop. Mind giving an alternative file download link like Dropbox?

No, it is a graphical mod, so you can add and remove it at will.

Is adding this mod to an existing save a bad idea?

I don't use that mod, but I'll see if I can have a look at the issue sometime.

I can't see any generalstuff.gfx file, though there are a couple files in the gfx/interface folder. And another folder for a lot of gui interface files

Does this other mod you're using have a folder called "interface" and inside it a file called "generalstuff.gfx"?

@Komissar Rudinov: Hey, somehow your mod creates a conflict with "A bigger interface". When i run both, the Monarch's Journal occupies a lot of the main menu screen. It's not a big deal, since there's no featured ruler in the GoA mod, but would be great if that could be fixed.
