Any plans on doing the Dropship from the TV series? possibly with its own Drop Pods?

Not at the moment no. I tried building a mock hangar bay and realized how huge of a task it would be to recreate it in 1:1 scale. I estimate around 600-700m or more. A bit much for my liking and I know I wouldn't settle for anything less than 1:1 replica if I went for it :P

You are more than in your right to question it. Like I said I would've yelped as well, the similarity is uncanny and undeniable, but dare I say in some way unavoidable. That said your proportions seem better than mine, feels like mine is too big and flat in comparison.

Fair enough OctoMoose, considering all your previous builds and their level of detail, Im inclined to also believe the "parallel evolution" theory... lol... There were just to many similarities that made me question it.

Yes it looks very similar to DBI version and I can absolutely understand the reaction that I would be ripping it off, I would feel the same. There isn't much to besides screenshots from the build process that I can upload as proof but I can honestly say this was built from ground up by me without referencing theirs, I don't look at other builds before making my own for this reason.

Theirs is more movie accurate than mine, but with a scale as small as this for a replica, there isn't much room so these are bound to come out looking alike. Cockpit is bound to look similar no matter what, it has to look like that to fit a seat inside and still work with windows. Wings have to look like they do in order to function. Similar, but different once you look at them more closely. I was shocked at how familiar they were once I was prepping my upload and looked around for other people's versions to see how I did... I can only claim parallel evolution leading to similar end result.
