It's really scuffed and ugly, it's basically just an alternative to gamepadviewer or other input displays if you're piping inputs to the game directly (TASing). If you're not TASing, I would not recommend this mod, as there are a lot more better and flexible alternatives for every other use-case.
To answer your actual question, it works sort-of for keyboard, but not as well as with a gamepad.

@JDWMGB I mean, a video would be better and also, for @doesthisusername is it only for controller or universal ( can be use w/ other ways of control ) like a keyboard
