Is it possible make this IFA for Snowwruner? ;)

I have issues with the drawbars being locked with the IFA-trailers. Steering is almost impossible with a trailer attached. Is this a bug on my machine only or is it in the mod? Great mod anyway! :-)

This is a very realistic mod. The Ifa W50 was really like this in real life. Anybody asks the author to make it stronger? No, you can't expect anything more from 110-125 HP performance and roughly 420Nm torgue, plus a not ideal transmission. My father drove one of these things, and his opinion is not nice about the Ifa for obvious reasons. It was very popular in Hungary back in the days.

In this case it was actually quite fun, as i need my mate to pull me back on the track on every corner, so that I do not fall down the cliff. Added a unexpected challenge to the whole situation and reward of getting there in one piece was all the more satisfying.

thanks so much for this mod, it is very well done in my opinion and also not overpowered. Also a pretty good balance on what the individual trucks are allowed to equip, well balanced and still need for other trucks, well done. (I have seen too many mods, where the trucks get ridiculous amounts of traction and power, that just hurts the gameplay. you are meant to get stuck in the mud at some point or fall over or not have enough power to climb a hill, so that you need help from your mates.)

I have played this one last weekend and I tried to very difficult route with the W50-LA shorts logs loaded on back of truck and then a trailer with fuel barrels. I might have been too ambitious, but I noticed that the truck lost the ability to steer uphill, it might have been to much weight and it might be intended from your end, just wanted to let you know.
Also this issue went away as soon as I detached the fuel trailer.

Guys, any problems/bugs? I change gearbox, fix some problems... Are all problems solved? I dont think, that this truck will have semitrailers or any addons... But I think, i do more addons in L60, which will maybe semitrailers.... But if i got much freetime to do it too. In all cases, thanks for feedbaks, it really makes mods better.

I have to confess I also had the feeling that he is too weak .... but I agree with Talos if he says you get used to the power of some trucks ... difficult to find a solution for everyone. the army version a little more power might be a good idea, it is a game and a shame if a truck is realistic, but it is no fun to drive because it does not get ahead. visually, it is very well done in all cases. regards

For normal models with narrow tires:
Turning circle: Super
Power: great
You made this mod very realistic these trucks were really not very strong but they were great in the field! Players here are getting used to the less realistic overpowering mods!
For the Army models with thick tires:
Turning circle: Maybe too realistic is really because of the thick tires.
Power: They had a little more power, they could be stronger because of the players here.
General tires: Super
Conclusion: You could make the normal models realistic and the Army models with more power for the Steam player who need more power! ;)
Mod is very good already and it's great that you fix the bugs.

Ich habe auf dem W50 gelernt und die Traktion war viel stärker. Die Army W50 waren noch stärker.

Hallo, der W50 Army hatte auch einen Stahl Container und der Trailer dazu hatte die gleichen Reifen wie der Truck. Der Wendekreis ist viel zu klein und die Traktion im Gelände ist viel zu schwach, die war beim Original viel stärker. Bitte ändern. Ansonsten ist es ein Super Mod. Danke.

This mod is great, especially the wheel looks very realistic when it gets wet or is slightly covered with mud.

Ok, guys, I try to change a power, in next update I'll add the truck(long base with LAK II) and change tyres. Stering wheels also will be changed. Trailer I also keep in mind, but it will be a small trailer.

Habe ich auch getestet; Das Schaltgetriebe ist leider wirklich zu schwach und das Lenkrad dreht sich nicht richtig weshalb das Wendekreis zu groß ist! Und die Reifen sind vielleicht zu hart!
Wenn das alles verbessert wird passt es schon (vielleicht mehr ladekapazität, ist kein muss).
I also tested it; The gearbox is really too weak and the steering wheel is not turning properly, which is why the turning circle is too large! And the tires may be too hard!
  If all this is improved, it will be fine (maybe more loading capacity is not a must).

after extensive test drives a small review from me.
Pros;
3DWork great, texture very good, sound perfect, good balance with the road tires
con;
no 2-axle trailer available so you can only transport one load of short logs !!!!!!!
Steering. The steering angle is simply too small to master a tight, winding map without making a 5 point turn in each curve.
the suspension is also a bit too hard, especially with the baloon tires of the military version
Engine power and gearbox,
very hard gear changes in all directions
the military version is a model of poor traction. but is not due to the truck.
the tires simply have too little traction and are too hard

I took the liberty to build an improved TBT.version from the green truck, with new tires and modified engine, gearbox and suspension.
