Heh, sorry, I had to.
Still, a ring's a ring and I'd rather "You find something in the fountain." If nothing else, I'll sell it for gold or re-translate it to change its effects into something more agreeable.
The only items you can find with "You find something in the fountain." are rings. I think that doesn't matter for any perma-death player.

This is probably a mod conflict.
That is, unless increasing the number of fountains counteracts the decreased chances of that one coveted event occurring. In which case it favors players doing Perma-Death and makes it harder to load-and-die when you don't "Find something in the fountain."
All potion sprites are from the main game's unused potion sprites (potion_white0.png, potion_orange0.png).
The chance you'll get a bad effect from drinking from a fountain is the same as it is in the main game.
