It works, but doesn't seem to affect all the sounds anymore

@Hal-Scion - The way I did it was went on -zedge- and find the ringtones at the time. Chiral alarm, use a free program called "Audacity" to change it into a .wav.

Just do that, go to steam>steamapps>workshop>content>294100>1971480365 and copy and paste the folder into your steam>steamapps>common>Rimworld>Mods

In the Sounds>UI folder, just replace LetterArriveBadUrgentBig . wav with the version you want.

@Hal-Scion - Ahh, the Chiral Alarm. Yeah, the original had three lower blares- though through discord a few complained that it was rather long. Specially when they have a lot of bad events. So tried to compromise by keeping it short.

@Higgs the second part of the red alert! there's the three harsh blares, then the three lower blares accompanied with the hard clicking sounds. here, it's the only three loud blares.

absolutely love this. being a fan of death stranding, it livens up the game so much for me. only qualm i might have is the alarm sound being too short. some ten or so hours playing with this mod and it's still a little jarring not hearing the second part of that memorable alarm.

@Holgast - I updated the sounds. Should be as loud as the other sounds. As for the red alert, there's really not many sound effects I could find that sounds "red alert".

I tested this out and found that some of the sounds (minor incident, open/close message) are a bit soft. Also I really dislike the red alert sound, it's pretty annoying, but I don't really know if the game has a better option.

@almjwgserm - Eventually, maybe, hopefully.
