Maybe helpful to someone - if you have the spawn points mod, but can't click this to assign a spawn point away from it to the nearest road (sometime you want to place this building in a grassy area away from real roads) - you can click another building with sub-buildings, which has an issue with spawn points mod, so courser is orange waiting for you to click actual building, so while in this mode you can come and click this building instead. My eldercare is modded to be eldercare-childcare with subbuildings so I use that.
