I've loaded the mods in the Map Editor - Settings tab. But when I go into the game, place a new industry, rail yard, airport, anything at all - no additional settings ever show up. Everything is still the basic 400 (or default storage abilities). I can find nothing at all to indicate how to do any of these upgrade / or other changes.
As far as I recognize, it would be possible by that way to upgrade those modular stations (e.g. high speed tracks, catenary), I don't see any possibility in Vanilla besides to bulldoze each module and build new ones.
That would be a great help. What do you think? Are you willing to make it?
it's my mod, I just modified the vanilla modular_station.con with changes from different mods (longer train station, asymmetry fix) and scripted my default stations' sequence).
But the part (line 1514) is unchanged vanilla code (= line 1049 of vanilla file) - nothing changed in upgradeFN() besides change for increased station size.
ok, if I click on configure at the station I get same errors, but game does not crash.
So my real issue is not really related to your mod.
Thank you for the support :)
It has a very special layout:

possibly there's really an issue with the mod and such a layout.
Start upgrading Emmen Sidings (98066) with station/rail/modular_station/modular_station.con
[...]
Doing upgrade (98066) with station/rail/modular_station/modular_station.con
error: error: [string "mods/tsilaicosneknurd_mergedModularStation_1/..."]:1514: attempt to index local 'tgLeft' (a nil value)
[...]
But there's no station "Emmen Sidings" I can find. According to the building number it must be one of my first stations.?
Any ideas?
btw. really great mod
Interesting idea, I have looked into the source code and it could be done really easy. Only problem is UI: For upgrading all stations, I can add the same menu as is in this mod, but I don't know, if it will be possible to add some button for individual upgrading.
And there is other thing - "realism". As this would be true station upgrade, it should cost some money.
Question to the modder: Do you think it would be possible to upgrade trainstations/busstops/truckstops to current era (buildings, platforms, streetconnections)?
