@ROBAX The red areas are from other Virus X missions. So they are prohibited -)

Important tips:
Use no other mods or it won't load. It's ok to not have Enhanced momvement and 3rd person view as this is reasonably balanced and there is no AI other than zombies. Runners are few and easy to deal with. Set music to 50% to get rid of the popup warning.
J - Tasks/Journal
F1 - Inventory, food, health, fuel, repairs.
Use Action menu > Inspect to find fuel, health, food etc.
Fix/fuel a vehicle by sitting in it and using the items in F1 Inventory.
Standard food and drink are meaningless.
Keep checking the Journal for tasks.
Keep checking the F1 inventory for things you might need to use during the tasks.
In single player, after saving and exiting, go into Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\YourProfile\Saved\steam\Virus%20X%20-%20Patient%20Zero.chernarus and rename the autosave.Arma3Save file to continue.Arma3Save otherwise you cannot resume. Be sure to save again immediately after loading to create a fresh autosave. Keep a copy on your desktop in case you mess up.

Finished this after wanting to give up several times just due to frustration over the unfamiliar UI. It turned out to be a good mission after all. I quite liked to see that pushing mechanism being used in a couple of places. That was novel and could be used for more interesting puzzles. It's not clear why the red areas were disallowed. Overall I wanted it to continue with even more tasks. And the ending was good in that I got to 'get to the chopper' for once and not just have it complete on the ground as most missions do. All fine, thanks.

@ROBAX In your inventory you have item called 'Doctor's diary'. Select it and press "Use"

Hi JTS, I'm stuck after picking up the thing in the doctor's building with the access code and that mission is now completed in the journal. But I don't see where the code is. The safe wants me to type it in, but I don't know what it is... any suggestions?

@Swifty Yep. Your music volume should be 50% in your game settings

Can the attention pop up be removed in some way? It just stays on in the middle of the screen and i cant play at all.

А будет ли продолжение?

Прошёл миссию полностью и хочу рассказать все свои впечатления. Сюжет в сценарии сильно напоминает Dying light, особенно сказались катсцены, саунд и сам сюжет в целом (Разве этот короче а жаль). Но самое главное в этом сценарии атмосфера в особенности при игре с друзьями, а также ночью из за ограниченной видимости и звуков зомби. Концовка вообще что то. Вообщем автор очень хорошо постарался и смог сделать сценарий наравне с Resist и я не переоцениваю.

Пока нет, но сегодня планирую полностью)

I got many mods on singleplayer confused many mods, other scenario no issued.

@Wolves Hero What you mean with broken mod? You mean this mission? it's not broken. You have this message because you are using mods which are banned in this mission. Just use mods which are listed and you will be fine

@Dator Лута много и при том он хороший. Так что да, можно и в землю выстреливать

3643 часов в игре. Наверно афк был все это время ) Зато дислайк догадался как поставить. В миссии все продумано. Если нельзя использовать какой то мод - значит на то есть технические причины. Во избежании багов, ложных отчетов и неправильности геймплея

@Dator, На то есть причины. Миссия сложно-построена, так что это оправдано.

@Dator, Как это обычно делают опытные игроки - не перезаряжаться, если пострелял всего пару раз. А если осталось патронов 5 - отстрелять их и перезарядиться )

Well. You should save the game to save your progress

I just closed the server I was hosting the mod on to restart my progress. But when I try to click play again nothing happens.

@[GhosTBulleT], You can play it in SP. Just save the game more often, because of a bug in SP :) About the crates: I pushed them all in 15 minutes. Maybe you are doing something wrong..?

So, after all , is working in SP ?
Cuz i played last night for 3/4 hours and i`m at the pushing crates now for 150 m and there are 4 and i`m alone, can`t make just to load them in truck ? Then to push, and push and push till you push again because you need to push those crates YES? :))))

@JTS, странно, у меня постоянно висит табличка купить ДЛС. Разгрузка и оружие кажется оттуда. И напиши подсказку в инструктаже, что надо открыть дневник задач на "J" что бы понять что делать, а то я минут 20 просто катался от незнания что делать.

@Karpenator так а экипировка и есть из капа, за исключением одежды. ,А лут рандомный выпадает. Так что тут как повезет. В локациях с сюжетными заданиями очень много лута

@Karpenator Насчет оружия ты прав. Ну я видишь ли в первый раз сделал кооп с открытым миром, так что еще надо посмотреть, что понадобится изменить -)

Автору хочется пожелать:
1. Повысить шансы дропов оружия и одежды, имхо пока доедешь до первой задачи, ни чего кроме колы,печенья и пива не попадается, за пол часа игры, выпало 1 ружьё, 1 одежда и 1 рюкзак (которые хуже моего обмундирования)
2. Используй CUP экипировку и технику на старте, а не ванильную из ДЛС.
3. Добавить сторонние задания на карту.

@✿KUZCO✿ There are some technical reasons why these mods are blocked. If you got blocked by the mission - then you have mod that is not compatible with the mission. This mod can break the some scripts or do some visual stuff, which is not good for this mission

Is there anyway to run this mission with additional mods? When I try to boot up this mission it says, "mission failed, you are running mods not recommended for this mission"
