Oh the irony, Person asset fixed mod, is broken & affects games!

Turning off old version create awful boxes and other problems. How to install the replaced models? Where i can find your mod and should i copy over the old unfixed mod?

do you know why the person are flying?

In his videos Hans Dampf is using this mod but he has the possibility to place a RANDOM figure instead of always the same.
Does anyone know how he does that? Is there another mod or some kind of extension?

@tsilaicosneknurd - thank you for that advice. It did help me purge a bunch of old saves that I didn't really need as well as get it working again. What is frustrating the OCD is not being able to unsubscribe to a faulty mod!

I've bulldozed at least one grey box that I'd placed; Some of the others have transformed into various road vehicles and passenger carriages! I had a train pulling into a station with half a dozen carriages positioned across the platforms overhanging the rails. I then waited while the "carriages" boarded the train!

Careful it couse crashes !!!!

click on "LOAD GAME", select your savegame, click on the small + top of the mod list on the right side, sort it by name by clicking "Name", then the first entry should be the mod, which cannot be found, disable it by clicking on the switch right. Then you should can click "START" and your game should continue.
But as discussed here, missing persons-models will be replaced by moving grey boxes, until all have died

I am unable to unsubscribe to the old version, which is now no longer on Steam, and I have savegames that won't work and cannot use the Load Game menu from the title screen!

This is, naturally, extremely frustrating. Does this mean I can never remove the faulty mod from my TF2 game?

Do you have to keep old version activated or not to get rid of the boxes?

I've downloaded the old version from google drive but i still can't use my old savegames because it isnt at the workshop anymore -.- Can someone help me ? What can I do?

This fix doesn't fix it at all. I made an experiment - run my ruined by "person asset" mod game. There was year 1900. I thought that when the "fashion" will change, the new persons will be spawn. I set the fastest time and waited till 1945. Unfortunately number of boxes was near the same. I minimized the gme and... forgot. After transmission of Four Hills Tournament (David hats off) I returned to the game. It was 1971 and no boxes!
They have disappeared between 1945 and 1971 :)
So this is solution :)
If someone found the way to respawn all the persons at once it would be a quick real fix

Ja, man könnte jede einzelne Box aus dem Spiel nehmen, indem man deren Wohnung platt macht? Dürften aber ne Menge sein. Oder halt warten, mehrere Tage.

Das hab ich auch getestet. Neue Stadt gebaut und da waren keine Boxen unterwegs. Zier mich aber etwas alle Städte abzureissen... Vielleicht gibts ja doch noch ne andere Lösung :(

Ich glaube, wenn man eine neue Stadt setzt, tauchen dort keine Boxen auf. Die tauchen nur in den alten Städten auf und keine Ahnung wie lange es dauern soll bis die mal verschwinden. Eine radikale Lösung könnte sein, die alte und verseuchte Stadt (Einwohner) durch eine neue Stadt zu ersetzen.

I watched now half an hour. The persons dont disappear. So i have in all cities many boxes moving around. I would be really glad if you can help out...

Thanks for the answer. I tried to install the old one including fix. and without old ones. I still have this problem. So you suggest to wait until despawn if this is possible? How long this should last? Just to be sure to check right... And should i only keep the fix active or the other 2 (old file and replaced models) as well?

It's occur because the game can't found some models. I think persons with missed models will be replaced with vanilla ones when respawn. I'm not sure, but it seems persons is respawn periodically, like TpF1.
Watch them...

I have the same problem. Many boxes which i can not fix with no way i tried yet.
